this is a real bargain!! my missus dad is a ex peugeot mechanic now manager and he'd do the cambelt for beers and a takeaway for me hmmmm

I have the same car, and really love it. The engine give smooth power whatever gear you are in. Some one buy it, you will not be disappointed !

Well, I attacked the other ARB mount, and of course, the bolt (into the floor of the car) sheared off despite careful attempts to undo.

Getting really, really sick of all these broken cars being around now! I think the best course right now - as the ARB drop links are removed - is just to remove the rear ARB entirely. Then it can be driven, albeit with rather odd handling I expect - entirely safely.

Getting more tempted the more I think lol

Someone wants to buy my car on condition it has a 12 month mot on.it (due at the end of this month) so I could let you know in a week if il take her :P

Handles better without the ARB attached! And there I was worrying it'd be somehow dangerous.

Forget what a fantastic car this is really. Wish I were more geared up to working on PSA-built cars.

Blimey that's nice!  How much?? £650! If I needed another motor....

Posted

What is the far left dial for?

Oil temperature, but it shows oil level when first started.

It's £500 as it currently is, and is probably sold, maybe, pending being looked at. I just want these cars gone, I'm overloaded and stressed out.

Location \ price dependant I'd have a ticket (or possibly a couple )

No. 28 for the moment

Posted

that would help lol

Location is Brighton (could meet half way if train tickets back arent silly money)

tickets i was thinking 12 each two for 20

Posted

Well I'd be up for two, (28 & 44)

Might be an idea to start a thread on its own as I only looked at this one as thought Richard was posting again

Posted

I would absolutely LOVE to have this but I've got absolutely no cash at the moment, so I'd definitely be up for a roffle. It's probably within walking distance of my house too for OMG collection excitement

Seeing as somehow I've managed to acquire a 206 and a 307, despite hating modern French cars , I'd better have number 40 and 6 please.
