No, it's not had a new engine!

I have owned it from new, but spent most of the 90's in Dubai, only driving it when home on leave 3 - 4 times a year.

I think I had it dealer serviced for the first 8-10 years, but after that my local garage looked after it.

It has the 12 valve engine.

A little superficial rust and some car park battle scars, ...Grrr!

It is not currently MOT'd and will probably need a new exhaust, ....the one on it now is the original!

As is the clutch.

A whole lot of car for £1,000.00

Apart from the colour and manual box - and the fact mine is an '89 on a 'G' - that is pretty much the same as my one what I have just sold to BV.

That's exactly the sort of car that in 15 years time we'll be kicking ourselves we didn't buy. Looks lovely, GLWTS.

Gorgeous car. Didn't think I even liked BMW's but this is lovely...

I did not like these when they were new, but now I am older and wiser and think they are echt cool.

I'd like to get in that and drive it right through France & Spain into North Africa like an oldskool CAR roadtrip story.

It certainly seems to be the season for amazing Cherman charriots up for grabs.  Looks like a right honey.

Do you shop in Waitrose per chance ?

Posted

Would, but the A4 wants for too much in maintenance to be saleable.

That's gorgeous and a real credit to you. If I was in the market for a big retro cruiser I'd be hitting you up as I can't see how your go wrong with that.

Good luck with the sale.

Buy this and be just like your local nightclub owner circa 2004.

Accessorising gold jewelry and extremely young girlfriend not included.

That's lovely!! I had a rather tired 525tds a few years back and loved it, I bet the petrol's lovely. These seemed to totally disappear about 3/4 years ago, can't remember when I last saw one.

These E34's were posh, then wannabe bad boy, then they started to vanish, now they are rather classy again because only nice ones like this still exist.

That is lovely, it needs a good home and a bloody good rustproofing.

How classy good cars looked then, visibility superb with nice large windows without 8" thick A pillars, the steering wheel you just want to caress it a proper simple wheel not a circular playstation festooned in soddin buttons.

How neat those BBS wheels look, one of the nicest designs ever to grace a car, decent size for bargainous rubber too.

Wish i could justify it mesen, someone please buy this and cherish it.
