Something extremely nice happened in our family this week so we went for a posh celebratory meal out.

When leaving the house kids made sure I took the right car keys because apparently only Frank would do when it comes to nice occasions.

 

I must say that even without a wash and polishing he always looks brilliantly smart.

No, they seem to go for about a grand on the bay but this one has a few dings here and there so I recon they're worth about the same amount tbh.

Had a bit of a engine cooling glitch the other week.

In very hot weather, the temperature gauge moved slightly over the concrete mid point it was always on.

The expansion tank cracked slightly and there was hair line of coolant pissing out.

The new tank fitted and all is good again.

Love the way the red clip on the bonnet strut allows you to open the bonnet to vertical.

One of the many little touches that makes them great cars.
