#4 is a car I've owned 4 examples of, and I always thought it was ahead of its time. GM bungled those cars until 1988, when they got the 4.5L donk. One year later, and it had port fuel injection, the body was lengthened, and it (surprise!) required premium fuel. The 88's didn't. I miss my C-body Cadillacs every day...(*sigh*)

May they rust in place, wherever they are...

I suppose it's all in the eye of the beholder but it says shedloads that most are old. Dare say anything less than complementary about a modern and today's breed of car owners will be baying like rabid dogs. Mercs from the last decade come to mind - some are gopping to my eyes. In particular a white C class estate from about 2010 which used to park near parents.

It's growing on me the more I see them.

 

Knowing there's a good chance of the "aluminium and cheese" 4100 under the hood helps.

 

Yellow thing is the Fiat ESV based on a 126, no idea why they stuck a boot on it though.
