As FOAD said, your OP is lacking information and isn't very marketable (is this a word?).

As skattrd said in little letters, you're looking for a car that a lot of people want and offer a car that is simply not as sought after. Niva's don't really go for much less than £1,000 unless in terrible state. You can easily get Frontera for £500-600.

You got off quite lightly, wait 'til you try and sell a Golf or a Corsa. 

 

What you do get on here is honesty because not many people are going to sugar coat anything, but that sort of helps in a perverse way. Don't take it to heart, or you're knackered. No reason why someone wouldn't swap a Niva with you, so no harm in you asking.
