I am so pleased that all the Jaguars are up in Scotland.

I'm dreading one being sold anywhere within a hundred mile radius of my house.

I'm hanging my nose over Jags but unsure if I'll get one in the garage. It's good to know I've got a guaranteed sale if I buy one and it won't fit :-)

I could mkve it to 99 miles away if needed

I would so love one of those - I love the rectangular headlamps and the colour but not the see-through floor. It is a shame I am under strict instructions not to buy any more cars.

STAY RIGHT WHERE YOU ARE!

Bring a volvo, make a profit

Replace petrol pipe B4 welding floors, prospective buyer.

Sounds so ridiculously obvious but I've known otherwise intelligent people do exactly that.

Luvverly, cars, those 40s.

I thought they grew Volvos in Scotland, like cannabis?

Like mushrooms? Can you grow them in a box in the loft, and they start off as DAFs and grow into 760s?

want very much, but I have the same requirement as barefoot.  It's not always fun being at the wrong end of the world

Best you get if you plant DAFs is a 345, my dope-smoking friends tell me. And that's using loads of lights.

Buy mah jaag and sell smack instead:)

Man up you southern softies. I'm up in Fife, wanted the calibra RobT was flogging in London, so just flew down and got it.

1 hour long flight from Edinburgh airport, and an enjoyable drive back.

Same story with the cortina - I bought it from Saltash in Cornwall.

Aberdeen and Glasgow are a cheap as chips Easyjet flight away. Can be had for as little as 17 quid.

The risk is when you're buying blind at a distance, but shiters tend to be pretty trustworthy in my experience.

I've had a couple of cars off kinkersaab (the other jag seller) and he's a thoroughly nice chap.

I've had a 740 from Brighton and a 960 from Bristol, Dave's had a 760 from Brighton, a 740 from London and a 960 from Cardiff, Adrian had a 740 from Norfolk... SVM rules state that it's only far away if it's over a sea.

Unfortunately as can be seen above, Glasgow is too close at approximately 9 miles away from CMS_TOWERS and it's not a Volvo, so I'm out.

I'll just throw my Thornaby to London by train, London to Thornaby by Corsa B against the clock mission in to quieten the 'too far away' excuses a little further too.

This car is full of cows and trees and the same colour as a strawberry Mivvi, anyone who wants one should buy this one and sort the niggles, it's lovely.

How much is it?

It is up for offers or swaps- Due to short MOT and aforementioned welding requirements, I'd be happy with as close to £500 as I could get:)

I've already had the fun of owning an XJ40 and not only that, I came out of the experience with my wallet totally unscathed (apart from the 21mpg it averaged during the time I had it), so much as I'm tempted by the posher trim in this one, I know when Karma is telling me to behave myself so I'll decline with a GLWTS.

I can tell any prospective purchaser that it starts first kick, even in proper Scottish summer weather... ;)9K9MX2wl.jpg
