I need to get a pair of wiper blades that will fit a side pins I have at the moment as a minimum for MOT and the final solution is a pair of silver wiper blades and arms with side pin fittings to fit the Gamma.

I also make the mistake of not measuring the existing wiper blades when I visited the car on Friday so if all you Gamma owners could pop outside and measure your wiper blades I would be grateful!

Thanks, other listing give them at 18 inchs but I can't be sure until I check the car which is not at home. I have now been in my garage and found I have a new pair of black 18 inch wipers with side pin adaptors so I hope that will solve the MOT problem. It would be nicer if the car was set up with stainless side pin wipers to look the part.

Pink and Red ended up parked together so I snapped them, which would you choose?

Self indulgence, did a glamour photo of Red Raspberry because I have had to take the decision to pass him on as I have too many cars that need tax.

Will I ever be allowed out again without a chaperon!

I popped out this afternoon to give my friend a lift to collect his sons Mazda MX3 from a garage and that’s all I told Mrs6C. The bit I had not mention to Mrs6C was I had seen an advert for a Saab 9-3 SE Turbo convertible and was planning to view it!

A very short description and 3 poor photos meant I felt the chances of it being a good one were slim, but as I was passing within 2 miles of it I had to check.

A look around the car and short test drive had me convinced it was a good one and a deal was stuck including delivering it to my house then and there. The first thing Mrs6C knew about it was a Saab turned up on the drive and I came in the house with the seller.

Apparently my only mistake was choosing a Saab without heated seats!

Looks ok, what's the bulkhead like? I've driven only one 9-3 Saab and that was ok but a bit dull- it was my brother in law's step father's estate. Wasn't a turbo though.

Mrs6C checked it carefully and there are blanks instead of switches.

Three smelly vent things plus two hanging trees! Does it leak?

I have driven a 1995 900 turbo convertible quite a bit and there was a lot of scuttle shake, I have not driven mine except a short test drive.

Of course November is the best month to buy a convertible!

Ok, I have been outside in the Dark and all the carpets are bone dry and the car has had a new roof cover this year that all works beautifully.

That's exactly what we did, ran it for a week to make sure it was OK then put it away until the spring. DVLA charge outrageously for that week before it was sorned and it obviously pricked their conscience when I complained because they actually gave me some more money back. Now, rather than taxing it for a full year and running it for seven or eight months we just tax it for six months which restricts our usage and reduces their revenue. :(:)

I have waved goodbye to my Stag this morning. Sad to see it go as it was my brothers car for 16 years and would have loved to used it next summer. If I had keep it, it would have just sat around as I have too many projects.
