That Cadillac is superb.

Are the white XJ6's asleep for the winter now?

Not yet, the S2 has a problem because the oil pressure gauge sender adaptor is stripped and can't be run until I find one. The S1 is getting a new temp gauge sender and bonnet catch adjustment before we bed it down.

Another swap today my CX has gone to a barn to hide from the weather and my Rover 75 V6 Touring has come out to do daily service.

The one step forward one back thing is annoying me, today on the LNA the guys hammered a socket onto the mixture screw of the carb that had broken its slot and was stuck and it turned, fantastic. Next the engine stopped and would not restart, it seems to have sucked a load of water from the tank so I guess that needs removing and cleaning.

My TD6 Range Rover has suffered water damage to the audio equipment thanks to a lousy design, I have had a Land Rover specialist look at it and they said the satnav disc reader was water damaged and replacing that might sort the band in the screen that is fuzzy, it has not and the screen now rolls as well now. Ah more money!

Ok I could get slung out of this group for owning an inappropriate motor vehicle but I am going to risk showing this, I have been down to Wales again this weekend and had Mrs 6C photo me crossing her parents ford! With 100% confidence that this vehicle can take a good soaking I just booted it and before Mrs 6C ran from spray I set going she took this great shot.

I have had it 6 years so it was current body when I got it!

Before that I had a P38 4.6 HSE, before that a 1988 3.5 EFi and before that a 1985 3.5 carb. The good news is I still have the 1985 car, not on the road right now but I hope not too long.

I have been to the Midlands Citroen Car Club Christmas Lunch today and took my Visa 17RD, turns out I was not the only Visa in the Village!

The gingerbread H vans were great.

The 2CV has gone away for the winter now, the Visa was standing out anyway.

I did have a tinker with the visa control too. Wish I could fix the high pitched squeal from the merc's fan!

I think that was the Twin? That is also put away for now and I only have a 17RD out to drive.

I had to have the fan changed in one of my W124s, a lot of taking apart if I remember correctly.

Sorry, I am tired and didn't look at the photos nor take in the17rd reference. I also forgot that you have a fair % of the uk visa stock :-)

The fan bearings have gone, I've reached them with a Dremel attack and wd40 straw but its not a long term solution.

I am not sure how far along the street the news had travelled that I was having Fat_Pirates dead Rover 75.

Anyway today I collected it and installed it in the field of dreams.

I will use it to keep my 75 V6 Touring going, the problems I have with mine are the heating is only luke warm and sometimes pulling away from rest it feels gutless, somebody told me this could be to do with the inlet manifold?

So if anybody needs any parts not related to my problems just ask.
