Just an early warning

Autoshite will be down for an hour or 2 later as we have a problem on server that needs sorting.

Shouldnt lose any posts hopefully.

http://autoshite.infowill be available during downtime and you can carry on posting on there.

 

We really need a faster server but funds dont permit at moment.

Just ordered a new server,much faster than this one.

Downside is that it will entail about 24 hours downtime while it is set up and i transfer everything & it propogates to internet.

Will have

http://autoshite.info

available to use during downtime and will take here offline with link to it,then transfer all posts from there to new server when it is online.

Just rebooted server.

The temporary server that it is running on at moment is a bit slower than normal one but shouldnt really be noticable.

Hopefully new server will be up tomorrow.

If we'd of upgraded to the 48k Spectrum last time instead of doing it on the cheap and getting the 16k jobbie then we wouldn't be having these issues now where Dave has to try and get the ram pack to plug in and not wobble.

I have increased available memory,upload size,and post size which should hopefully have helped with problems.

Still no sign of new server but they do say 2 to 3 days build time.

Also, is there a pot that a couple of quid can be lobbed in for any costs, Dave?
