Anyone want a CX?

Would love to but know nowt about them apart from the look waft-tastic, oh and I've also blown 350 quid on replacement seats for the Amazon. Meh!

Plus it'd cost me a fecking fortune to get it to Essex from Scotlandshire.

It's not that bad, it needs a clean inside and the dash needs refitting.

He said something about a radiator leak but I'm sure some K seal could solve that for the time being.

Otherwise it's fairly good, it does look remarkably solid for an old frenchmobile.

Many are the wants but I already have a green blood estate so ahm oot.

For the ones not entirely familiar with the Wobbler of Dolly's automotive past, could you please elaborate slightly?

TEh reg is ideal* for anyone with a coupe or who is part of a dyslexic couple.

Valued at over £100.

You have no plans for the rest of the day...?

Well, it would be nice to know what model it actually is, and what kind of work/money it requires, no?

Especially considering that it's quite a hike away from most of us.

You mean like what's that green puddle underneath etc etc?

Well, actually knowing what kind of fuel propels it would be a good start, and then whether that fuel manages to propel it currently.

Hey man, I thought you were making it your aim to buy every derelict and disused car in Scotland.

I'd guess with the automatic badge it's a TRI - normally aspirated 2.5 petrol injection.

Would you also guess it's a total dog, or do you guess it's actually running?

What kind of work would you guess is required to put it back on the road?

I guess it is what it is, am I right?

I guess it would need the radiator issue looking at but I guess that isn't the end of the world.

The owner said it ran before he put it in the shed, so I guess it'll probably run now.

At a guess, minimal welding will be required if any, the outer looks pretty good.

But I guess that's up to whoever looks at it to decide.

Sorry Christian, I think we had an Anglo-Austrian humour wire-cross there!  :D

I thought you meant you wanted to know about Ian's automotive history, which would take some considerable time...

Junkman in " interested in a CX " shocker!!!

Have you read that badge on the tailgate?

This is one of very few appropriately gearboxed death traps remaining.

In darkest Scotlandshire, I presume...................

It is, but it's only a few minutes away from the M90.

Apparently the suspension works fine and I can't see any LHM leaking, though that's probably an inconclusive finding as it's pretty hard to see under it.

Oops, just been informed the owner wants a grand for it and denies ever saying he'd take £500.... We're doomed... It'll be stuck here forever at that price.

Was this not up for only £800 when DW sold it and it was (sometimes) working and was at least road legal?

Blimey.

Happy to donate a box of matches if you've got a jerry can.
