I saw one of these on British plates this morning (I think this is what it was. It was LHD). Vw Atlas.

Seen those adverts recently as well and was trying to work out which cars the AI have cutnshut together - the yellow one looks like a bit Daf 44? with a Mk1 Fiesta grill and the green one a Fiat 126 with a Shogun Pinin front end?

Those adverts make zero sense without depicting a car that at least looks slightly like the car they're talking about.

Not so much that I was unaware of it's existence but that it preceded Bristol with the location of the spare wheel

Caruna Spider, which this Dutch site says is a Frankenstein. I think they are being kind.

The brand has been brought up before, some years ago in this thread.

That was only for a Peugeot based car.

The company also undertook work to convert a Mercedes 380 SL. This one belonged to the Dutch royal family. Evidently used for the vacation villa in Italy.

I think they were badged as a 600 by this point, for whatever reason. That colour is supposedly 'Ivory Charleston'. So, posh beige.

Are you saying you did not know these existed ? Where have you been?

France. Saw something a while back about the 5 but not the Prius.

I don't take much notice of new car news, just occasionally see something I don't recognise

Probably Autoshite - but I know what he means. You see something in a magazine and then you experience it in the wild.

Bit like women.

Quite different. 😂

Wew. That is bland and fussy and fugly.

Though gold cars seem to be making a comeback.

How much is it? I have no access to Facebook.

Looks like a one off home made [ it's a kit see below] - but there is a bit of a Dennis Adams (Marcos) feel to it.

I was busy looking up something on Google Street View when I spotted this:

Did some digging and apparently these things are a thing:

Peugeot 307 XRAD van or something. I was aware of the 205 XRAD:

Even worse, the 307 is also available as a saloon:

As an aside, the silver 307 XRAD appears to have a council notice on it on 2018. Shame it was probably the only British-plated one in existence from what I can find. The rest (on the Internet) are all Irish-plated ones.

I knew about the Renault 14, and the Safrane, but the 14 Safrane is a new one to me:

I rather doubt any of the 900 are still around, but maybe one of those aluminium plaques survives in a drawer on a toolbox somewhere? I picked up this brochure over the weekend.

Found a Flickr photo of a German import model in NL taken a few years ago.
