Hey I did pull actually, I was all bouyed up after a successful Volvo deal that I was filled with an extra level of confidence and charm. Even the barmaid started chatting me up when I got that fat wad of Scottish twenties out, you guys must have it so easy up there!

I think the fart gas from the scotch eggs makes trapping choices extremely easy.

Argh. If you'd have said you were short on head unit-age, I've got loads of the sodding things in the unit. You could have had one and chatted to SCTSH_ANDY about trossachs, or something.

Two SCTSH_ANDYS in one place conversing about a trossach and Swedish cars would probably induce The Braveheart Scenario where all the Swedish cars get sucked into a black hole down the pit before we combine to become OPTIMUS GLEN or something.

I've not got a spare head unit - thought I had an old Volvo radio cassette in the cupboard but it's gone walkies. I'll see whats lying about the work when the bill lands for the MOT.

Congratulations Barrett! Success all round. I even managed to sleep with a woman at the weekend, but it was my own woman and only after a great deal of pleading to not be left to "sleep in that fucking grey thing in the driveway".

To be fair, that was the sentiments when we caught up with him at Chodlymong.

I'm really pleased to see that this old beast is still alive !!! Well done chaps !!!

Sigmund Fraud mentioned that the front brakes were upgraded, maybe 760 ones or something? He should know anyway, I wasn't really listening.

Indeed, the car wears the early 760 front discs and caliper spacers. Be very careful when ordering replacements, as there's three different types and they're not compatible.

That'll be why the rego pulled the right rear brakes up but the wrong front ones from Dingbro. And also why the brakes were £30 dearer than the right ones.

These are fantastic cars. if they've managed to avoid rusting, everything else is pretty easy. I've never had to scrap one, they've all been sold on in working condition which is pretty bloody unusual for me.

Stirling work fella.

One day all the Volvos will be in Scotchland. And the Scotch shall be the winners overall.

At least that big hairy spider didn't hitch a ride.

I like these Volvos, though I'll need to work on my Scottish accent before I'm allowed to get one. It's a requirement now as I understand it.

I can't do a Scottish accent to save my life, yet I have two RWD Volvos :)
