Hi all

My sister in law wants a car 'for about 200 quid'.

It also 'has to be small and reliable'.

Thanks.

I guess she wants one with a years mot, a bit of tax and be under 10 years old with airbags too?!

Corsaviour must have something in stock if you can slightly add to the £200 budget ?

These offers do come along, it's worth putting the feelers out and things turn up if you're not too picky.
The last four cars I've bought have all been under £200.

Wasn't somebody (other than Cavcraft) trying to shift a Corsa or something for that kind of money recently?

Buy Billy's 106, or I'll kick your face in

That's very noble of you, thanks.

Fuck me, she doesn't want much, does she?

I apologise, she is from the Manchester area.

You can get cars for around £200. As KruJoe said, I have bought several in that price range over the past two years (even with MOT and tax).

Have a wee gander at gumtree. Plenty there usually, although I'd check the cars background if possible.

I can't believe there isn't already a SOLD flag on Billy's 106...

...and a grey 106 at Station Yard.

They do exist.  My convertible Golf was less than that, with nearly a year's test and 4 1/2 months' rent.  OK, it isn't perfect, but it's a VW so it'll be reliable*.

£200 cars do exist, helped a friend buy a 2001 Astra 1.4 couple of weeks ago for that, had tax till end of month and MOT until November, was the second owner from new selling. It was surprisingly good when we looked at it, I was expecting a right shed from the description. I think the seller was sick of webuyanyshite knocking £50 off their quote every time he mentioned another scratch.
