This afternoon I was working on the girlfriends polo fitting some well overdue discs and pads...

So I get a phone call from a guy I know who works for a prop store in Glasgow, he asks how my fleet is doing and if I have room for one more, he goes on to tell me it's some proper chod made in 1976 on 55k miles 1.3l engine...

My god! An original plastic spare key!

Oh yes my bet is on marina.

I'll be wrong.

I'm going to play a wildcard and say Dolomite.

Allaggros are more conmoner than other 1300 chod of the era so im saying AG!

Please let it be a bile green Ag-Estate. Oof.

Is it too late to withdraw my wildcard Dolomite suggestion?

Blanked stereo, brilliant

And a round dial where a clock might go but no numbers or hands...

Fantastic, a very nice colour combination (yes, seriously).

Also, I wonder how you find those seats. Unless it's collapsed, they are the most comfortable car seats going.

Pineapple it!!! Nah only kidding, doubt this will be going matt, its already a pukey green anyway! Apart from the wing its surprisingly solid for some OMGSTRIKE BL chod. Whats the most common stuff that goes wrong with them?

It needs slammed, banded steels, roofrack and a side exit exhaust...

But I am actually capable of leaving a car standard and not painting it a silly colour so chances are it'll get a replacement wing and stay as it is...

Need more photos you can't just leave like that.

Oh you did lol.

I see that it has no mot, does it need much work?

We'll have to wait and see... I might go back tomorrow, get it running and the brakes free and book it in for an mot on Friday. I can't really see it needing a lot as it was had mot when it was parked up and wasn't used much beforehand. I think someone's been poking at the wing...

I took this photo in June 2013 and it looks much better...

Nowt a bit of Isopon and chicken wire can't fix.  You can probably get Breen/Grown gaffa tape these days which would save you a lot of time and effort.
