SVM are at it again...

Rather, east. Yes we have ANOTHER Volvo purchase amoungst the Scotoshite Volvo MASSIV. I've sold my red 960 to a felly in work who was desperate for a car of any description and I've got another 960 from Bumtree. This one's better specced with leather, leccy adjust seats, air con / climate, cruise, V90 cd player head unit + 6 disc stacker in the boot and a dog guard. It's a pre-facelift but still a 24v straight 6 automagic all driven through a live rear axle. Independedandent rear sussies were only brought into the estate on the facelift so this should drive rather different to the one I've just moved on.

 

As stated above the SVM are not doing ROAD TRIP WITH ADDED EPIC as this one's rather local - Inverkeithing - however some conselation can be taken from the fact the seller bought the car in Gloucestershire.

Car was viewed today and desposit paid for collection tomorrow.

SVM Collection Services (West Lothian) Ltd GmbH PLC MFI B&Q (rml2345) are providing a lift out there tomorrow for the pickup.

 

£550 for a fair condition Vollo Estate, a private plate (TGV 8X) and a complete boot full of spares ranging from tiddly light clusters to parts that need 2 men to move.

SVM Fleet Movements for 2014, Q2

240 estate has left Spiny Norman's fleet for feeling "a bit old to be a daily" and has been replaced with a Daewoo Leganza. TOP SHITEY POINTS!!!

850 moved from Newcastleshire to Paisley. Won in mad raffle for £15. BARGAINOUS!!!
960 Mk2 moved out from Dave's fleet to Paul in work. Will press for Scotoshite / SVM membership.

960 Mk1 moved in to Dave's fleet. Yep. Clearly senility is setting in.

 

Will need to expand the ranks of the SVM now that Paul has the red VAJ and that Ian has relinquished SVM status due to loss of the 240. Also know a guy at work who has a MODRIN S40 and another colleague who has an Amazon 122S. NEED MOAR SVM MEMBERS!!!
