The production line at Browns Lane looks a tough place to work back then.

You can see the primitive track just in front of the MK10.

The guys sitting down are probably attaching door trim - which seems to be stored to the right of the pic -  they must have been uncomfortable sitting on the moving track.

Given that's a publicity or press shot I bet things were even more unkempt ordinary times - looks at all the kit stacked up to the right.

Jaguar was riddled with strikes in the 60's - not surprising when you see working conditions like sitting on the concrete floor all day.

I've only worked on a production line once - very tough.
