The car is a 1953 Ford Sedan. I'm guessing that it is a factory test car. Ford in the US introduced seat belts as an option from 1955.

Minol petrol station on Ernst-Thälmann Street, Eisenhüttenstadt, der DDR 13/11/84.

Minol stations had two stroke dispensers built into the pumps and had pump jockeys to fill your tank for you. You had to make it clear that your vehicle was a four stroke, otherwise you'd end up with pre-mix! They were used by residents, vsitors from the west were supposed to use 'Intertank' stations. However nobody really cared whcih station was used.
