Epsom, Surrey.

They put more effort in to graffiti in those days didn't they?

This photo is titled '25-300 heads south with a train of Vauxhall motors at Warrington in May 1984. Mk1 Astra GTE at the front'. Any explanation why it should be heading south? Both Luton and Ellesmere Port are further south than Warrington. Are all these imports, brought into a dock in the north (eg Liverpool)? But aren't Astras made at Ellesmere?

Nice little discovery from the Coventry Evening Telegraph in 1970. I believe this was the very Isetta my grandad passed both his motorcycle and car driving tests in. He'd sold it by this point but he was certainly shocked to see it on the front page of the local rag a couple of years later!

The Renault 16 is standing out here, especially compared to the coachbuilt sidecar.

Reading the caption I can only assume that the robot sensors would be telling each other (in squeaky voices) "Yes it is leaking, next please"

Hence squeaky voice dash at times.

What came first? The chicken or the egg? MGB or Sherpa?

Morris J4?

From which the Sherpa evolved. Otherwise the the MG definitely came first which makes the Sherpa an MGB van.

More like a Farina Van. 1622cc B series, drums all round. More parts bins on wheels. 😁

But isn't the MGB also often referred to, on here at least, as a Cambridge coupe? But yes, I'm sure BMC managed to use as few different parts as possible across their vast range.

I've just discovered the Dutch goldmine which is the Autoweek registertopic flickr album:

55-75-PD Citroën Dyane 1970 43-73-FE Datsun 2000 [130 Cedric] 1968 73-39-FD Fiat 125 1968 33-92-HS Opel Rekord C 1969

Lovely clear photos, but what is the car between the Dyane and the Fiat 125?
