2004/04 plate Vectra 1.9CDTi. (I think it's the 8V model)

MOT September

Tax September.

1.9CDTi engine with 6 speed box.

157,000 miles had belts etc not to long back and seems to have had good money thrown at it.

Towbar and electrics.

Great runner and seems good on juice.

Bodywork ok, some rust bottom of driver's door, looks like someone's keyed one side of it at some point and it's been very half-arsedly touched up.

One key which works as in manually opens/locks the doors, but if you open the door the alarm goes off until you put they key in the ignition.

£650 drives it away, it's in Chester, Cheshire.

This forum, etc.

Went to work in this today and it drives really well. It's also done 10,000 miles more than I originally said, but I won't charge extra for this.

HOWL! I really like these, perfect car for cruising to France in. Shame I'm bloody miles away.

Good luck with sale.

If it's the 6 speed it will probz be the 16v model, that's how Astras work anyway. FIAT engine too perfect for all the H8RZ!

GLWS etc.

Does it come with free headless person giving the thumbs up?

If it's the chunky remote key same as the model before, they tend to get a dry solder joint on the battery terminal. Ten seconds to fix, should stop the alarm sounding.

All Vectra 1.9 diesels are 6 speed, as are all 1.9 Astras, think its only the 1.3 and 1.7 diesel which in lower output are 5 speed and the more powerful have 6 gears.

My old mans Vectra remote fob stopped working, turns out the little black rubbery bits on the circuit board itself which are the bits which actually press in when you press the lock/unlock buttons on the casing had worn down, solution: some tiny bits of A4 paper packed between the circuit board buttons and the casing buttons to make the connection again. Voila working remote again.

Very nice, DPF of doom? of did the Vecra not suffer in the same way that the Zafira did?

Would tow my van that, sadly lack of ground clearance and prop to the rear wheels means Im out.

Can't believe there has been no interest, I'm going to go round to Billy's and scrap this tomorrow.

I wouldn't fancy a swap for this car sorry, Beko.

Station: what you should really do is come to my house with your Astra and some cash and go home in style* in a Vectra C.

Still for sale.

I'm going to stamp my feet, then have a little cry.

Threaten to scrap it. That will get our attention. No, wait.....

Good cars and good luck with sale. If only this came up 3 weeks ago i would have been all over it. Was looking for a diesel but the 1.8 one i had now came up

I do like these Vectras, they're great to drive. I'd be very tempted if I wanted a diesel Vectra.

Tell you what I'd rather have this than the 05 plate A3 2.0Tdi that crossed my path yesterday. Owner brought it in for once over. Just bought it off the bay. 170,000 miles. Turbo not connected. Lowering springs fitted (upside down), alloys painted black (why ffs) every tyre a different ditch finder, and basically now laquer on the the flat horrible rattle canned silver.

But it's ok coz the previous was a VAG mechanic.

£3800.

I'll just leave that there.

It's ok though, coz it's an Audi.

Fucking idiot.

Sounds like the new owner of that Audi is a bit of a Fucking tool too @ 3.8K

OP should have mentioned this Vectra is Black, IDEAL 4 UNLICENSED MINICAB LOOK.

If you had already thought about running unlicensed minicab game in this fine fine vehicle, I do apologize. And if not then I don't.

Whoever buys this should slip a couple of blue lights in the grill.

Traffic will make way.

Surprised it has'nt gone yet - let dickheads on shitebay fight over it.
