Dave, I haz question...

 

I can get pics up OK but it wont accept a pic post without text.   Sometimes I don't wanna say anything just post a picture so I have started to put full stop just to  get round the text demand.    Even then it still says "attached images".    Any way of  smoothing that when I post just a pic?

Text need is an anti spam measure.

If you  click "Add to post" on each pic,you will lose the attached images bit.

For poll just click manage poll at right of post screen & follow instructions.

Probably a dumb question but how do I get an Ebay listing into the Ebay tat with a picture? I've tried and failed a few times, I'm not very IT literate.

On ebay, right click on the picture you want to post and click "Copy image address" (or 'copy image location', or similar). You'll get a really long URL ending in .jpg in your clipboard.

 

When writing your reply on the forum, click the 'image' button (it's the one that looks like a green square). A little window pops up. Paste your ebay picture URL in here. The eBay image should now be in the reply window. Don't worry too much if it's massive, the forum resizes them to fit. 

 

Now to make it clickable, nip back to eBay and copy the address of the auction page. Come back to your new reply and click the image once. This should highlight it. Now click the little chain icon and paste the auction page address in there. This will make the picture a link to the auction. If this step doesn't work for you, just pasting the address in the reply is fine too.

Thanks for that, what was throwing me was the pics have to be fully expanded when you click them, the intermediate size doesn't work, only jpeg(?)  or supersize.

Hi Dave, I'm having trouble posting pictures from Ebay listings using chrome, when I right click on an image no copy option appears, I have a feeling the inspect element option is where the image is but I can't find it. Any help would be much appreciated

Not sure to be honest as i dont use chrome.

With firefox you just right click & view image.

Thats because you are putting topic tags on & not topic prefixes below them.

No, it isn't.    I know the difference, and select prefixes.  They do not show.
