An EBay find that even we might steer away from..

It's not me who found this gem as I saw this post on piston heads this morning... But it's got to be a wind up...

But really would anyone buy this from such a master of the English language and are we going to have a game of what car is this...

I start with a Cat C Daewoo Matiz

It's been a gem of the eBay tat thread for a couple of weeks. I was in Leeds at the weekend and was quite keen to drop the buyer a line. Ran out of time though.

£800 brake pads - probably is a McLaren then....

I've been saying it for years - new labour really did dumb down education in this country.

The bloke may well not be an Anglophone.  Trying to avoid too much politics, but my experience of doing some work with large compo schools in London is that State education improved under the last government.    I had a very good State education in the 1970s, but my youngest brother's school in the Thatcher 80s was dire.

Anger... growing... must... resist......  :ssch00101:

My guess is an early Focarse.  And he wants one of those bizarrely named grey-market Japanese MPVs with the ginormous mirror nailed to the back window.

The bloke may well be a total dumbfuck on whom even the best of educations was a total waste of my tax money.

I'm not an anglophone myself, still I manage to list a car under the cars section, am able to select from a menu what car it is, and upload a few photos.

I can do all this despite being an Austrian, believe it or not, since some things one can do simply because one is born, one would assume.

He does seem pretty dumb, but might have been living in a shack in Wherethefuckisthatistan and had no exposure to computers and shiz until quite recently.  More likely to be just dumb, but I am prepared to cut him some slack for providing some entertainment.

It would be rather fun to bid and see what mystery car I ended up with. But on the other hand.......

I reckon it's a low-milege Metro VDP in metallic cat-wee, with a spare NOS set of plastic wood trims in the boot.

I emailed him last week asking what it was, I'm still awaiting the reply...

He's probably walking to your house to show you a drawing of whatever it is.

Thats genius. I'd like to shave that man by the hand.

He is a top bloke, I agree, but I wouldn't go so far as to offer to shave him.

By all means, bid; it's not like you'd ever have to go through with the deal.

This IS Planet Ebay, after all...

He's a dufus so would probably not know what to do if you refused to pay.

I have asked him what car it is too, no response......I rest my case....

If you've got £200 going spare, stick your bid in and wait for it to land, you don't even have to go up to Leeds and deal with the numpty:

From the way he writes, I get the impression he's from east of Ipswich.  He's also obviously not the sharpest cookie in the parade.

At least he's made more effort than some though - I saw an ad on the bay a couple of days ago which had blatantly been translated from Polish using Google Translate - there were even a few places where he'd misspelled the Polish word so Google hadn't known what to do with it and had left it as was, and he didn't seem to have noticed.
