Seller is a big of a tool who fancies himself as a bit of a wheeler dealer type lol ProgRocker 1
cms206 Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 I hear good things about these; they are on the list. My mate had a 1.8 pez which went well. Coupe or saloon for me please.
eddyramrod Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 Protons are good tackle. I'd certainly buy another.
gordonbennet Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 My daughters chap had one of those till a coupla weeks ago, good little motor which he ragged to buggery but it stood it. I'd have one, twots look down their noses at the badge, so if it upsets twots thats a big plus. ProgRocker and eddyramrod 2
ProgRocker Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 Looks alright! Prefer the saloon version to the hatchback. eddyramrod 1

tooSavvy Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 I've got an 03 jumbuck which is based on a wira, the sills are rotten already..... now, you never hear anyone complain on POC - but they seem to be Evo4x4ing all their Jumbs TS
Richard Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 Is there something like an asking price?Where exactly is near you? £200 and Market Drayton. It's got about a week left on the MOT.
Partridge Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 Mitsibushi mechanics IIRC so no more rubbish than a 90's Mitsi. Looks tidy enough, and I probably would. I've never heard anyone moan about Protons breaking more than other cars, so I'm assuing they're middle of the road average.
chaseracer Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 Gotta be a J-reg... tooSavvy and cms206 2
Justin Case Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 They generally seem to be OK and pretty reliable, but with an MOT that can be measured in hours, this one may not be The Ultimate Proton.
