I find it hilarious that 2 door escorts (and other old fords) command such a premium over the 4 door models. Back in the day if you had a 2 door you were buying the cheapest of the cheap.. on late cortinas you could only get 2 doors on the rock bottom spec or L.The thinking was - you only have 2 doors if you cant afford 4. Now its the opposite! Bizarre

Doncha know that a car sitting in one spot and pretty much killing a good deal of the moving parts in it plus dampers and most things rubber is a good thing?

That Fiesta.... "low mileage" seems to mean a service book last stamped 22 years ago, and a 5-digit odometer that 'reads' 29k.Or 129k.Or 229k.

However it is quite incredible - not only is it totally spanking, it contains 0% scenery. Standard height, proper seats, steel wheels & trims, super.

49.8% of all remaining T25's seem to have cheap 18in alloys, camping interiors and fancy paint plus £15000 price tags, whilst the remainder have no interiors, terminal rot, no/broken engines and Blunkett paintwork, usually sold as a 'project, cos I'm going travelling' or similar middle-class youth twattery, at £2500 (no T or T).

Could just be me, but a second-owner car with 35,000km on the clock doesn't actually warrant the description "BRAND NEW". OK, it's tidy, but... €5,750!!!!! That has to be more than it cost new?!

The Gallery is famous for it's overpricing and the cars aren't always that great... this is a good example, it isn't and won't become tax exempt over here, absolute base model (4 speed!), not an everyday car (maybe for six months...), don't think it'll sell quickly.Apparently is cost 10,886 euro new (or about 23,000 in our old money).

I clicked it, but cleverly turned the sound off in case of any gasping noises or groaning or other noises related to surprise insertions of carrots etc that might arouse Ms_Bols suspicions as to what I was looking at. By doing so, I effectively disabled the only functionality of the site which led to further compounding of my already high levels of cerebral confusion.
