ebay 'BARGAINS'

Asda have a massive national logistics network that allows thousands of people to buy a single pint of fresh milk off them from a shop just a few miles from their home for a matter of a few pence. They don't buy a pint of milk at public auction then immediately offer it untouched for 3 times the price.

True, but then again it's better than bullying small businesses so their profits can be even larger.

You have got to be having a fucking bubble!

I mean talk about fucking tenuous desperation!

This vehicle is one from my Landrover collection and is one of interest! It is the first one off the production line in January 1957.

Therefore it is actually the first ever, production Short Wheelbase Diesel Landrover. You have just seen the last one come out of the factory. Now the first one is for sale too!

200 Bags

No you read that right 200 fucking grand

Hang on, the advert seems to suggest that the engine isn't original, and neither is the bodywork? And parts of the chassis need repairing too.

So you're going to spend more on a shitty old 4x4 than you would a house, and it's going to end up 95% new parts once you've spent even more money.

Just fucking donate it to a museum and let them display it as is.

He's actually a nice chap, he lives by me.

But that price is ridiculous, I don't think his phone will be ringing. He's got plenty of cash anyway.

At todays exchange rate this is for sale for 30,925 GBP (just under THIRTY ONE THOUSAND Pounds). It is, we are assured a "safe investment" and that finance can be arranged....a good thing I think.

Actually..for reference these were over 80,000GBP when sold new in DK...so maybe its not such a bad price

TBH, if I owned Land Rover #1 I'd probably lob it up for a daft price too, can't blame him for trying.

I think I'd be more furious at the world if someone paid it. It'll never be a truck that you use for lobbing a dead sheep in the back, or bumping over farmland in the middle of winter, it'll just be restored and squirreled away in a collection but nowhere like Gaydon is ever going to shell out that money so it'll be never seen again until it comes up in an auction for £300,000

And somebody actually bought one???  Fuck me!!!

I'm sure that in the small print it includes a gold ingot of considerable size... Either that or whoever posted the ad had a bit of a shake on and double tapped the 2 at the start of the price!

Gumtree Yoof wants £300 for a scooter he describes as

fucked lol

[i was once given a 2002 model SR50. It ran and was only marginally uglier than this one.]

it needs the full kickstart mechanism and or a starter motor

Before the kickstart broke it did run but

it used to bog out and not give full power

all it needs is £250 tops spending on it and some time and the scooter will be mint

Verdict: BELLEND

Too many mongtards asking £200 minimum for very borked scrappers then getting a cob on when you offer a solid £100 which currently is triple scrap value, they seem happier with taking £33 scrap as some form of weird protest

E500 with similar (proven) mileage they'll ask up to 20k for, E60 is the rarest 124 of them all and special order only IIRC, facelift too, it should sound wondrous.

Wouldn't be surprised if someone shells out 50k for it.

The geezer at London Classics could learn a bit about the worth of photos from that link.

That ugly bastard X6y thing in the pic above (something else that can't be unseen), please tell me its an artists drug fuelled impression and they haven't actually made it, fuck me.

That £23k 205 has been reduced - by a grand. I can just imagine that generating a ton more enquiries:

"Did you ring up about that 205 GTI?"

"Nah, it's too dear, I only really want to spend £22000"

I sometimes see modern Mercs on the road and cringe a little at their crass ugliness and lack of Mercness.

I like to think my dark Metallic red E280 saloon (w211) is still just about a Merc in the accepted sense, although it all started to go downhill with the introduction of the 190.

And I'm afraid the X6 thing , GLE , I think exists I saw one yesterday , it had 315 tyres on it 21" and they looked small such are the bloated proportions of the thing.

Quite honestly i think 211 is the best looking Merc of the last 15 years, i'd love an E500 estate in GreenBlack (my favouritist car colour of all time), since then the E class has been increasingly battered by the ugly stick, and WTF is any Merc doing being driven through the wrong wheels? that bloody creation above the X6 lookalike is the gashest of them all, 21" wheels my arse..only a double face palm smiley would suffice and i refuse to be seen dead in one.
