The pictures tell us: totally hopeless, fucked up rustbucket...

Description tells us: "cosmetically it's in very good condition for its age."

Good to know that "There is a bit of rust in the rocker panel area, but my daughter's 1998 Ford Taurus has 10 times as much rust as this veteran."

And what a good investment it is because "You will make up the price the first time you rent it to Homeland or other period Middle-Eastern or African drama."

When did Peugeots become so collectable?  Oh, right.

I know these are a nice looking thing and becoming sought after, but surely 11 bags for a fucked one is taking the piss?

No doubt this will be bought by a VAG scene junkie wanting to be *different, who will force rat it, sticker up one front wing, pineapple it with a "period" roof rack full of old tyres and empty suitcases, fit air ride and 9 inch wide BBS 3 piece wheels with stretched 155 tyres. All to be the man at next years shows. He will then take all the parts off it to sell on and bridge the shell because no one will pay the £20,000 asking price as it stands.

poor car....

Looks nice enough (though missing a bit of trim on the front wing)

Was on Ebay for 2750. Salty, but nice ones are getting thin on the ground. Particularly early ones, and 4-doors.

Now 6250, a few weeks afterwards - because "my terriers will eat the interior".

Tosser.

Yes but in a few weeks it has aged another 100 years so therefore is antique.

as the ember glow HLS seemed to be up for £5k+ recently i honestly thought this hatchback wedge was not unreasonable ASSUMING that the condition of the car is as nice as it looks in the pictures.

BUT i am a halfwit who likes BL's "finest" products.

Some posh London-based 'foodie'-type couple will snap that up.

Like the ones I saw in Cornwall this summer, physically pushing a pristine one down a busy road near St Ives.

The look on the face of the person (the wife in this case) pushing the thing were consistent with spending £20K on something that has just thumped your ear-drums for five hours at 50mph, which has just broken down.

I've been doing a study on this blighter

princess_klassieker_hfd.jpg  < when interviewed for Dutch magazine in 2009

He said he chose the car over the SD1 as it was for business use and didn't want to be 'too flashy'.  He drove it over to Torcars to be converted and repainted while on holiday in UK.

It has done more than 400k km.  'Exchange' engine at 260k km.

Last time I was in one of these, my mate was was driving and my other mate was on the roof... at 2am... down a dark country lane...

Ahh, the memories of a vaguely misspent youth.

Don't think I'd pay £4k to relive it though.
