It's not even an original, unmessed with car either.... :?

Yes, but it has been photographed in a white room and someone has clearly spent all afternoon cleaning a panel on it. Clearly worth the premium.

How fucking sad do you have to be to want to pilot one of these things about?.... :x

Looks like £100k ....

Not if your eyesight's good enough to own a driving licence it doesn't....

at least it actually is a Roller, and not a Chrysler 300C

Posted

That Roller was for sale not very long ago, out of a gym(?IIRC) on Canvey Island.

I think i posted it on here at the time, but can't be arsed to trawl through at the mo....

Just begs the question, what is wrong with it - apart from the obvious?

Never mind, i'm sure someone on here could get it looking good with a couple of weekends work.....

Isn't that about what they were new...? :?

Indeed, didn't you know they actually appreciate in value when you drive out of the showroom?

And check out his slightly tired looking 1981 Vauxhall Astra for £5,000.

It's back!!

Now at bargain £400, still no MOT but no mention of coin stuck in handbrake, perhaps he's found and spent it.

Even a new user ID to prove his love of Peugeots!

Hardly seems worth it. I do wonder sometimes if cars like this are doomed to just do the rounds of dealers for years on end, never finding a deserving home.

Got a feeling that the singer vogue auto is one that i road tested for a friend about a year ago,it had a strange noise from the flexplate/crank/pistons on the overun.Never did suss the noise but i can remember it drove ok but was so slow it was genuinely funny,2K seems a bit strong but they are open to offers,£500 seems nearer the mark.

I wonder is the Aitken-Walker cars above related to She-Who-Crashed-An-Astra-GTE-Into-A-Lake?

Actually, I met her a few times over here, nice lady.
