It IS "ammaculate" though. I was expecting to see some massively-specc'd / racing sprint, at least.

Clearly suffering extra nought syndromeFrom the quality of the write up, I would guess its a typo.

309 GTIs are nice cars, but not quite that nice...

I had one that looked just like that. Didnt rust, went like **** off a stick, lovely interior, handled brilliantly but there was one major flaw......

I found out that when my one was made the electrical dept at Peugot were on strike. To keep the line running they brought in a bus load of monkeys from the local zoo, shut them in a room and then sent the 309s in one by one. When they came out the other side they drove them out to the transporters and off they went to the dealers.

I actually found some monkey nuts and a bunch of bananas under the back seat once.

That looks great. I'd buzz off of it.

I like that he thinks "never UK registered" is a selling point. "Car for sale! Lots of forms to fill out!".

People think it's a plus, because they have no rust. Just like this one ... oh, wait.

my linkage-fu is weak at the minute but HOW FUCKING MUCH?£16500 BIN Dollyhttp://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1976-TRIUMPH-DOLO ... 4a9de71eb2Must be a pisstake

I see some wag has bid 99p, anyone off here?
He has adjusted hie slightly optimistic BIN.....................]

I MADE A MISTAKE WITH PRICE WITCH SOME-ONE KINDLY POINTED OUT THE BUY IT NOW IS £1600 AT LEAST I GAVE YOU ALL WATCHING A GIGGLE LOL

problem is he hasn't changed the BIN, just says in the text he has. If somebody clicks on it, technically they are liable to pay the original amount, and the seller is liable for the fees on the original amount. Looks like another great example of a seller not understanding ebay.....

Unless they have been buggering about with it again, fees on motors are fixed. Maybe it's you not understanding ebay... ;)

I thought there was a percentage of the final sale fee? Just like live auctions. It's the reason many people just sell off ebay, saying stuff like 'item no longer available' Yes, the listing fee is the same, but you can't tell me ebay would be just as happy to let you sell your car for ten grand or a hundred quid for the same fee to them.

Item 260536926026

THE OUTSIDE OF THE PARTY BUS HAS BEEN DESIGNED TO LOOK LIKE A FIRE ENGINE, COMPLETE WITH LADDERS, LADDERS ARE APPROX 3FT LONG, SO ONLY GOOD FOR A MIDGET, THERE ARE NO BLUE LIGHTS AND VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN DECOMMISHENED AS IT HAS NEVER BEEN A FIRE ENGINE

Jesus. Phoenix Family Fun Day territory (again). 10 grand my arse

GR8 4 Mini owner?

I sold a load of walnut Mini bits for a mate a couple of years back, including cappings. Fetched a faintly ridiculous amount as I recall! I also sold some bent and rusty kickplates and a rubbish aluminium doorhandle set for a fair whack too. Mini owners, love them!

LOL that bus is hilarious, seriously who on earth would think an old Dennis Dart with 3 feet ladders on it was originally a fire engine?' Oh hey do you want to hire my fire engine for a party? Dead cheap'' Sure thing, any catches?'' Well it was a bus and the ladders dont do anything'Imagine the reverse of that, a fire engine thats now a bus?'Destinashon boards aded frnt and rer, onli seats lyk 6 tho, but panted in aufentic LT colors, RED AND WHITE'

Wow, that fire engine appears to be on fire all the way round the bottom.edit: Ah, it's just convincing vinyl. There is one of these twat-mobiles on the Wirral. It's an actual fire engine, but the fire brigade must've taken the set of ladders off before sale as it's now fitted with an old aluminium step ladder.:lol::lol:

I love how the brilliant condition of that TK is completely destroyed by that picture of it with the mirrored Caravan.

Posted

I don't know so much, the travellers probably had them when they were new, and now it's come full circle.

^^ Chrome wheel finishers but pre-sign written shot looks more pikey than the one with the caravan  It is very nice, but 17.5k is probably a bit unrealistic.
