pandamonium Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 I was over in hackney the other day, and as my wife was driving I managed to take a couple of pics. I sold the Lada this week so needed some wheels quick - here is the result of speed-ebaying (not a recommended pastime)!
Mr_Bo11ox Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 Loks canny innofensive! My dad oughta get himself one of these instead of the Beta.
pandamonium Posted September 11, 2008 Author Posted September 11, 2008 Its ok, just a little boring compared to the Lada!
Spottedlaurel Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 The 2dr Audi 100 looks rather sharp, I like that.
Milford Cubicle Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 Nice Audi. 8)That Felicia looks mega-dull!I test-drove one a few months back and it was terrible to drive, flopped about all over the road, and this was a low-mileage, looked after example.
mk2_craig Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 Liking the Audi. What car were you in on these drive-bys? Rear end of the Citroen photo, your interior trim looks super-pov.
pandamonium Posted September 11, 2008 Author Posted September 11, 2008 flopped about all over the roadYup, noticed that on the windy roads on the way back. My Lada with chopped springs handled better! On the plus side, its a 1.3 LXi so is nippy(ish) with decent economy.
pandamonium Posted September 11, 2008 Author Posted September 11, 2008 Liking the Audi. What car were you in on these drive-bys? Rear end of the Citroen photo, your interior trim looks super-pov.Lol pov spec is an understatement - its my wife's Perodua Nippa!
M'coli Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 Nice looking Fellatio. Why'd you sell the Lada?
andrew e Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 Fellatios are shite, except for the rather effective brakes and airbag :)One of a few cars I made no attachment to whatsoever.
pogweasel Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 The ultimate in Perfectly Adequate Transport. I wouldn't kick one off my drive, bland as they may be.
MrRegieRitmo Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 I actually prefer Favorits, think they've got more character than Felicias. Were Felicias the first post VW Skoda?
pandamonium Posted September 12, 2008 Author Posted September 12, 2008 Yes, and shares many similarities with the mk2 , 3 Golf. Even the replacement key has a VW badge on it!
Mr Lobster Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 Perfectly decent them there Skodas. They did a very high spec model with a/c and leather to celebrate the 100th anniversary I seem to recall. So why'd you sell the Lada anyway?
MrRegieRitmo Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 Is there much difference between the Nippa, Kelisa & Kenari? Are they all Daihatsu rip offs?
Guest Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 Nippa is based on the Daihatsu Mira (L200 series), Kelisa is based on the Daihatsu Cuore (L700 series), Kenari is based on a later Daihatsu Move we didn't get (L900 series).
MrRegieRitmo Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 Cheers, so I was right then (I'm getting alot of cookies this week!). Did I miss any?
mk2_craig Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 Perodua Myvi, which seems to be based on a second generation Daihatsu Sirion. Which itself is apparently also sold as a Toyota Passo or Subaru Justy...
bones96 Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 I sold the Lada this week so needed some wheels quick - here is the result of speed-ebaying (not a recommended pastime)! theres one round the corner from me apparently been abandoned due to being out of tax will try and get picture of it later i beleive its the same year and colour
wuvvum Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 Perfectly decent them there Skodas. Called the Laurin & Klement, after the original name of the company that became Skoda.Never had a Felicia, but probably will one day as cheap get-to-work transport. Had a Favorit, which wasn't too bad - completely inoffensive but still Czech designed so with enough crap bits to give it a bit of character. I still prefer Estelles though.
r.welfare Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 My in-laws ran a Felicia estate from new in '96 until about 3 years ago, when they chopped it in for a Fabia - which breaks a lot. The Felicia never did, although the arches etc became a bit crusty by the end. From what I can work out they are generally good cars although the odd duff one appears (didn't greenvanman have a really bad one?). L&K spec sounds lush if you can find one - in 2015 I'll probably buy an L&K Superb TDI
andrew e Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 The best bit about the felicia is the bottom of the centre console physically removes giving you a plastic handbag shaped like Krytons head.

andrew e Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 I was trying to find a picture but stumbled on this VR6 powered bugger! http://www.tuning.gen.tr/38-skodavr6281995tuning.html
