I need an incentive to get some other shitbaskets on the road – so would anybody like my rat-look Volvo 360GLT?

It's, if anything, too much fun to drive and too easy to own.

It's far scruffier than it looks in the photos – dented doors; hole in the driver's door filled with slap; rusty carbuncle at the front of the bonnet; sun-roof sealed with gaffer tape.

Other bad things: exhaust blowing slightly; makeshift but effective fuel supply system featuring a Rover 214 filter (which'll need changing soon); radiator slightly silted (runs constantly a little over half way up the temperature gauge, but creeps up a little further on hot days when cruising at 100mph or above); rear shock absorbers could be firmer; slight judder when pulling away sometimes (suspect engine mounts).

None of the above have deteriorated or given cause for concern in 5000 miles of driving it like a twat.

Everything else is fundamentally decent – engine, transaxle, brakes, tyres, etc. It's great fun to throw around and cruises splendidly on the motorway.

85,000ish miles.

It's taxed and MoT'd until the end of the year.

More importantly, it has a Volvo Backflash across the rear screen. 'Sophisticated styling, fitted in minutes!'

It doesn't owe me much at all. I'm open to offers or exchange arrangements.

Does it come with pants? I absolutely will not buy another an ex Sam Glover Volvo not fitted with manky Ys.

Doubt I'd be able to sneak this past SWMBO. Grrrrrr. GLWTS.

This must find a new home quickly before I invent a need for it.  It looks superb!

They are great cars. Think I've owned every model and derivative of the 300 series (apart from a saloon).

None has ever let me down.

Someone throw some money at him before he changes his mind.

Usual GLWTS type noises. Plus my mate had one of them years ago, great cars. :)

See, this is what I was talking about in the GOM.  Another excellent machine for (quite likely) peanuts from a reputable and trustworthy Autoshiter.

Loving these 360s long time.

If I hadn't just bought the ex-Wobbler Merc, etc. etc.

£200 COLLECT 2NITE* M8 ?

Failing that, telling us roughly how much you expect for it would be handy !

Wow I really want this but no can do unless you fancy a mark 3 Fiesta!

How much do you have in mind?

I think around £350 would be about right for this retro drift cool opportunity – as long as it's cleared out relatively smartish, before regret sets in.

Serious bargain! I had a silver one a life time ago, when they were still plentiful on the road. Epic machine. Should have no bother shifting it.

Sell the ex Wobbler Merc to me really cheap, then go and buy the Volvo.

Job done.

Very tempting. Obviously the opportunity to drive a vehicle which was once the steed of the one and only S. Glover Esq is a difficult one to pass up.

However, work is so manic at the moment that I simply cannot spare the half day that it would take to get up to Wiltshire from my gaff om Dartmoor to collect. A pathetic excuse, I know, but things are unlikely to ease up for a couple of weeks, by which time it will be too late.

I hope someone on here buys it though.

This is still available. Price reduced to £300.

Cheap, reliable, sideways winter motoring. Drive it away from Chippenham – preferably soon.

Let me the first to say GR12 4 DRIFTIN.

This will fly out of the door.

Don't joke about these things.

Whats Autoschade on that one AP? Google would suggest that Schade means 'what a pity, how unfortunate!, too bad' which is basically a polite way of saying shit isn't it?

Is this driven by the shy German arm of Autoshite or have we split with them (a la Motoscat) because of the conduct of their country during the war?

Is this still available? I'm not interested, just wondering if it had sold or not.

Well, looking a few posts up this page, it was still available four hours ago so I expect so.

Damm, I'm now thinking about this and a 740 or 940 Turbo engine swap...

...Could be a very nice track wagon for under £1000, but it would require front garden engineering at the wrong time of year.

Sam, any joy on finding another one of the PC stickers (sorry, hijack alert).
