Been meaning to do this for ages, I work as a gas engineer so am driving back and forth across Edinburgh and its fine council schemes all day, and I'm always spotting tat! The first ones have already been on FB so apologies if you've seen them already.

I like the RX-7, I'd give that a home if I could. The maroon 740 had a Rover 820 in front of it, last time I saw it. I take it you were down at the new development at the end of the road?

What a fantastic old CX, looks in decent nick too.

Bet that carb-fed 264 chews through the juice though, much better with the little R4, even if it does look a bit odd without its bumpers.

Cort16 aye the metro is a vdp, parked next to the marina outside a really creepy house in corstorphine, if it was scooby doo it would be built on an abandoned diamond mine! The Monty photo was taken on west granton road, outside soon to be demolished shops. Was trying to be artistic haha!

 

CreepingJesus I was indeed! The guy there must be an autoshite fan, he's had a monza, early prelude and a 70's yellow Datsun there in the last couple of years.

The 264 belongs to the mate I bought the scenic off, its interior and engine/auto box are in good condition but its rotten underneath

That's good to know, I seen it for sale a while ago then it disappeared! I have spoke to him on Flickr, Andy CMS Sent me a link to his page after he "papped" my Monty in St. Andrews square a while back!

I spotted GoldScotland's Uno earlier today and it does look a peach. 
Some great spots there Alan. I last saw that howkitt looking VW Bay window 3 years ago and it didn't look long for this world at the time so glad to see it's still around.

There a lot of nice/not so nice shitespots in Edinburgh, the new town has some interesting stuff, the proper shite is out in the schemes!

Gr76 thread - I'd always though Edinburgh was rather devoid of tat, I must be frequenting the wrong parts of town, must look harder. Fun playing spot the location too! (Know that Metro/Marina house well though, walk past there now and again of a lunch time looking for signs of life, it is a strange place!)

Wonder how long the blue Mini has left, it's super crispy in the front end and the gaffa and cooper bonnet are recent additions ( I work just along the road from it )

I think the same thing every time i pass it gearoil! It's taxed until August, that must be it unless he or she are doing the MOTs themselves?!!!

Keep an eye out for the Holden HSV thingy sat on Crewe Road North in Pilton, been sat a while now which makes me think the owner is either banned or something expensive has gone pop...

 

Craigentinny has a fair bit of chod too, there was one place with 3 Minis and a 2.9 GLS Sierra which I never did get around to sticking a note through the door enquiring about...

Can you tell me where that Volvo 264 is? That is a really exciting find, and a local reg on it too! I like the white Mini Mayfair as well, haven't seen that one, or the red F-reg Cavalier.
