Yes...easier when cars are more obviously collectors items...these two were just out and about though not at shows.

C2 Citroen - these seem to be getting rarer now. This one very box fresh. London today.

Pogweasel pink Starlet at the station carpark this morning. Apparently a 'Solida' special edition, going by the badges. Dealer special?

Not so many of these old buses kicking about now - Stilo 5-dr. This one looks to be in the terminal stages of the owner not giving a flying fuck - but then the same comment could have been levelled at my Laguna four years ago, and it's still with us.

Why are the fuel flaps always missing off these?

In future years, it'll be hard to remember that once upon a time not all Fiats looked like they'd had a 500 mask crammed on the front to appeal to customers.

I went out to this Pao at a set of traffic lights in Murston about four years back when it run out of battery power because the alternator feed wire was loose and melted.
Fast forward an its down the side of a nearby house in Sheerness.

I finally saw it!  I was worried for this little fella's well-being but it turns out he's absolutely fine.  Spotted in Folkestone this afternoon where I usually see it.

1983 Triumph Acclaim.  Valid MOT until August.  This car makes me genuinely happy, despite it being an ugly little bugger.  Did about 300 miles last year according to the records and only had about 63,000 on it in total last year.

Suspect that it still has its original owner.  Apparently there are only 21 left of this model and 150 Acclaims in total...

When you see them they are so small.

The Acclaim is a great example of cars pre-size inflation, you're right.

Spotted last night in Holywood - remarkably un-fucked with BB3-series Prelude, in 2.0i pov spec. Bit of bubblement around the rear arches, but clearly still cared for after nearly 23 years.

Impressed that this one's still evading the clutches of the JDM_YO! contingent from the Bangor Cruuuuuuise Massive, who appear to have systematically killed every interesting Japanese car in the North Down area over the past 20 years. Mind you, I feel kinda complicit as I was usually the one selling them the coilover kits, 'lambo doors' conversions and stupid underside lighting...

.....the clutches of the JDM_YO! contingent ...

I think we had a taste of that in the Rubberbandits video

^^^ Oh yes, we certainly did. Those were broadly similar some of the DTM-spoilered wankery that used to show up outside Halfords, piloted by puffa-jacket sporting specimens of Hibernica Adulescentes...

I couldn't help but mess with them some days.

"Here mate, here mate, d'yis havea setta Lexus lights for an Impreza, like?"

"No, but I do have Impreza lights for a Lexus, if that helps."

"Eh - wha?"

Best one was the chap who bought a 5-litre pack of 5W/30 and went straight out into the carpark and tipped the whole lot into his Corsa B and blezzed off before we could stop him. Followed by a distant pop and a lot of smoke drifting across from the adjacent ringroad...

The Benz crew cab belongs to a friend and colleague, we use it regularly to haul timber and deliver joinery to site.
