Right then: quick quiz-what's this and where was it pictured?

No idea what it is, but the characters on the number plate look Korean so I'm guessing North Korea.

Yup, you're right! Pictured in a Pyongyang car park during a holiday I spent there a few years ago. The minibus looked a bit like a Mazda, but I suspect it had been North Korean badge-engineered to look like a home produced product. The minibus in which we were taken around while in the country was a Toyota.

The badge looks like the logo of Pyeonghwa Motors, which started as a joint venture with South Korea but has been state owned since 2013.

They seem to have produced a bewildering range of vehicles in tiny quantities.

Definitely based on a H100 Toyota Hiace

Spotted on the A1. Fire the plates into the sun, otherwise lovely.

There are more of these on the road now than in period. Maybe because people have to live in 'em now.

I spotted this on my trip to Waitrose this morning. Owned by an eccentric guy, who bore a striking resemblance to Claude Greengrass of "Heartbeat" fame, he uses it regularly, shoes it with small truck tyres & does all his own maintenance-clearly a character!

sorry for the bad picture but this was sat in a lay-by near me for a week or so ( it’s recently been moved) looks well looked after, new tyres all round and looking at the way the front suspension is it may have been modified

Saw quite a number of export plates when in France recently. Wonder why?

I followed a P4 yesterday for a bit, seemingly in use as An Car on a weekday.
