What a lovely looking Daimler. Quite a suitable registration, given the quanities of Autoglym SRP is looks to have had lavished on it.

Scabby sills & arches, lacquer peel and aerosol touchups aplenty but still going with what could have been the original owners

I followed this Allegro on the M25 yesterday morning between Sevenoaks and Godstone.

It was smoking well on the over run and had a hastily knocked out, unpainted biff on its n/s rear quarter panel but it still looked the dogs bollocks.

Not only can I tell what it is, I know the car! It appeared on the eBay tat thread a short time ago.

It's spent the last few years mouldering away and annoying the neighbours on mnde's road but was sold after the council finally threatened to lift it.

"OK, so you'll want the dents and rust sorting out before the paint goes on, yeah?"

"Nah m8, just give it a quick blast, sticker it up and we're good"

How about a Ferrari.
Not a 308 but a 208.

Looks not rusty. Had a few of these - they rust a lot. Interesting to drive - bolt upright driving position and steering wheel big enough for a supertanker - handling and steering bit iffy brakes ditto. Always felt a bit out of control. Go well. May be an A105 with the performance engine. Column shift. Feel a bit 'tinny'. Nice leather seats with armrest that fold out in the front. 20mpg mostly.

I prefer the earlier short boot model. Concept designed by the Raymond Loewy studio initially and upscaled by Dick Burzi at Austin.
