Skizzer Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 I R NO LONGER AUSTIN MAXI! To celebrate this, one of the few notable milestones in my underachieving mingebag life so far, I have naturally decided to post some miscellaneous crap camera phone pictures of other people's tatty old cars on the internet. Only on Autoshite would this not only be considered reasonable behaviour, but (hopefully) welcomed as a routine contribution to the community. WE R ALL SADDOS First up, a Princess hearse, used as a billboard for a scrappy in Feltham. Sorry I didn't get more of it in shot, I was right next to it in a queue at the lights. Horseboxes are to old trucks what motorcaravans are to old vans (and Channel 5 is to Steven Seagal movies). Have a late Ford D-series, spotted at Newlands Corner near Guildford. I wonder if the horse is called Pogweasel Pink? Now THAT'S what I'm talking about, as Sebastian Vettel would say if he were a fan of Allegro VDPs after the owner did a trolley dash in a motor factors in 1982. Cat is unimpressed, in spite of bonus Saab CD and Skoda Favorit in background. This is either someone on here or a den of pikeys. If the former then well done mate, but I suspect the latter. If anyone spots anything that was HIABed off their drive, they're welcome to go fetch it back. I'll give you the address, just bring a big stick and a steak full of Mogodons for the guard dog. Tidy series 1 Rover 216 humming along the M25. Good work fella. One of my favourites - a properly knackered Carina in Twickenham. You're not even allowed to stand next to this unless you've got the right tattoos. Phact. Don't think I posted this at the time - this is Scooters after collecting his Yugo from the Nigel Bickle Wonderful World of Chod. That was a cracking day out, thanks Scoot & Nigel. Most covetable thing I saw in the car park at the Silverstone Grand Prix last year - and that includes the F1 drivers' cars I went past when an Infiniti PR friend of a friend sneaked us into the paddock . This is a stunner. Minty fresh with original dealer stickers and everything. Very tidy flat fronted Micra Colette in Kent. Remember when these were everywhere? CGSB, Stixy, brickwall and 4 others 7
Mash Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 That Bedford Luton is awesome! Seen the 216 VP a few times, nice to see an early one, it's a bit crusty here and there but lush all the same. brickwall 1
trigger Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 Excellent spottage skillz master Skizzer, That Bedford van is indeed awesome!
Skizzer Posted April 29, 2012 Author Posted April 29, 2012 Thanks chaps. Here's a few more, from Germany. Did we even get these 626 saloons here? 1989 hat gerade telefoniert and wants its street scene back. Having this Senator parked by my mother-in-law's house all Christmas was possibly the best present I could have wished for. Early booted Kadett, with original trims for the win. Josef und sein Technicolour Traummantel. Plus LPG for those feeling the cost of bailing out Greece. Magnificent Rustbucket, CGSB, Junkman and 1 other 4
Lord Sterling Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 Tidy series 1 Rover 216 humming along the M25. Good work fella. Intersting, only a few numbers away from this car: Junkman and Magnificent Rustbucket 2
CreepingJesus Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 That is righteous. I'd have been licking that, if it were parked anywhere near me. brickwall and Magnificent Rustbucket 2
vulgalour Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 It is a goal in life to be papped for just such an Autoshite thread as this. I keep seeing pictures of that Princess hearse posted and keep wanting to save it, but I know full well that it won't be for sale, and even if it were I wouldn't have the insane sum required. Of course, Dad wouldn't be happy about me putting it on his drive either, which I would, without asking. Just felt the need to add this in again, it's such an awesome thing. Magnificent Rustbucket 1
Skizzer Posted January 31, 2014 Author Posted January 31, 2014 Haven't posted any spots in ages, so here's some. I'm on hello terms with the owner, a very nice older gentlemen who has tamed a local family of jackdaws. No, really. Magnificent Rustbucket, Jim Bergerac, Squire_Dawson and 2 others 5

Skizzer Posted February 1, 2014 Author Posted February 1, 2014 ^None taken! Some London spots from the last 6 months or so. I did have a 'shit cars in posh postcodes' thread but can't be bothered to look for it, and a couple of people have had the same idea since. Mayfair and Marylebone do seem to be prime chod territory. Volvo 340 in Mayfair by Skizzer, on Flickr Toyota Supra in Mayfair by Skizzer, on Flickr Mercedes E-Class then and now, in Marylebone by Skizzer, on Flickr The Mercs at least look like they're the same scale. michael t Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 Brilliant spots, that Merc at the end is seriously FIT, but as you said financially suicidal
Skizzer Posted February 1, 2014 Author Posted February 1, 2014 Ta . Still in London but this time Ealing, Queen of the Suburbs. 1989 Nissan Sunny by Skizzer, on Flickr Nuther Nissan. Is it wrong that I rather like this, in this condition? The missus would probably have a fit though.Nissan Pao in Ealing by Skizzer, on Flickr Unscene Mk2 Golf in runout colour. Quite a cool thing to learn to drive in, I suppose. 1991 VW Golf Driver by Skizzer, on Flickr This Beetle gets allowed in because it's got no stickers, the right steel wheels and is even old enough to have the black number plate (just).VW Beetle by Skizzer, on Flickr Rover 100, not to be confused with the rather different Rover 100 P4 above. Can't think of much that the two have in common, apart from the number of wheels and maybe the average age of the owners.Rover 100 by Skizzer, on Flickr Here's a PROPER Metro though. Magnificent Rustbucket, Junkman and CGSB 3
NorfolkNWeigh Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 Totally agree with you about the amazing amount of old shite in the posher bits of the West End, that Supra in Park Street is usually surrounded by far pricier stuff than a Conti GT, there's an Arab kid that lives opposite that usually has a matte black Maybach or some sort of Brabus G-Wagen parked there. Up until last year there was a scruffy S3 Jag in those residents bays,I often wonder if that belonged to Supra man ,there can't be two people living there that have cars worth less than a residents permit.
mercrocker Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 top-hole spotting there! That transit is the bollox - you can almost see Carter & Regan hunched in the back with a Hasselblad and a pork pie staking out some blagger's missus in her yellow nightie. A35's pretty too....
Morgan84 Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 Great pics; the Mercedes pics are very nice to see, plus the Yugo is also a nice beige treat
CreepingJesus Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 Good spots, sir. I've a soft spot for RMs too, 'cos my dad had one in his yoof. One of his favourites too.Like the Kwak GPz too, it's impressive how many are still trolling around.
Lord Sterling Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 I like the Merc 450 SEL. Reminds me of the of 'The Sweeney 2' film where one of these was driving up.
Skizzer Posted February 22, 2014 Author Posted February 22, 2014 Few more from the last couple of weeks, all in London (mostly Ealing way). Once upon a time, every West London street had to have at least one of these:1991 Ford Transit Luton by Skizzer, on Flickr First BX I've seen in the wild for ages. Poverty spec special edition, too:Citroen BX 14TE by Skizzer, on Flickr A gaggle of E30s. I think 80s BMWs are very pretty cars with great detailing, and it was a real shame when they went first blobby and plasticky and then all pointy and aggressive.BMW E30 320i Convertible by Skizzer, on Flickr 1984 BMW 316 E30 by Skizzer, on Flickr BMW 320i E30 in Ealing by Skizzer, on FlickrThat last one gives me the horn, big style. mercrocker Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 Good enough for us! Plus low light level stuff keeps the background shit out of the way.... Skizzer 1
Angrydicky Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 How have I missed this thread in the past? Some truly horrible stuff there, top spotting!
Skizzer Posted February 26, 2014 Author Posted February 26, 2014 Thanks Angry D - you've probably missed it because it tends to drop instantly off the bottom of the page. I refuse to give up though Right, I've been in West London again this week. The few streets between Pope's Lane and Ealing Broadway really is Shite Central. First, some hot Escort action. vulgalour Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 Best thing about that Kitten is that it even has a cat-noise on the number plate. Skizzer 1
Angrydicky Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Bloody hell! That Kitten really is straight out of 1987. Hopefully the owner looks like Mr.Twit. Skizzer 1
RedSparrow Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 I always thought it was a shame they couldn't knock these together and sell them cheaper. Could've been a proper mini rival. eddyramrod 1
mercrocker Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 That cat-calling number plate means it probably started out in the Southampton area, wonder if it used to be blue as I kind of recognise it....
