mk2_craig Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 Ah that makes sense, one of my primary school teachers had one of those in the mid-1980s. Yours didn't last long - accident victim?
ifc63 Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 Yours didn't last long - accident victim? No, advanced body rot. Early Pandas were a bit prone and this had gone quite tatty plus the gearbox started playing up so it got scrapped. Can't remember exactly at the moment what replaced it but it could have been a black Fiat X1-9 Lido Special Edition. BUE ---T, wish I could remember the numbers. Again Google image but you get the idea ! Edit: It came back to me The vehicle details for BUE 385T are:Date of Liability 01 05 1992 Date of First Registration 06 09 1978 Year of Manufacture 1978 Cylinder Capacity (cc) 1290cc CO2 Emissions Not Available Fuel Type PETROL Export Marker N Vehicle Status Unlicensed Vehicle Colour BLACK Vehicle Type Approval Not Available
Vin Posted April 3, 2012 Author Posted April 3, 2012 VIP is rare. I've never seen one. Time for the usual Howmanyleft stat - it says there is ONE left. Have a VIP advert from one of my old copies of 'Fiat World' @ Pompei - Yeah I remember that. It wasn't long after I got the 750L. I remember mentioning it in a thread on here at the time as it wasn't long after I registered on here
pocket.calculator Posted April 3, 2012 Posted April 3, 2012 Couple of VIP brochures on eBay http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from= ... Categories
Morgan84 Posted April 3, 2012 Posted April 3, 2012 My friend had a VIP a couple of years ago - might still have it;looks like his might be more rare than I had imagined !
warren t claim Posted April 3, 2012 Posted April 3, 2012 Back in 1994 I was working for a telecoms company and one of the underachieving sales reps had a Panda Italia '90 complete with the half football wheeltrims and 750cc of raw power. I'm sure he would of swapped it for a Maestro Clubman diesel though.
