Exactly what you'd expect from a €65.00 kit:

It's fucked.

Perfect for a DS speedster conversion

First of all, I shouldn't have to do this with a kit in this price segment, secondly, this will never be completely straight, no matter what you do,

thirdly, even if I should get it fairly straight, it will bend back over time, especially given it's rather a delicate structure. Plastic molecules have a long memory.

The entire body is warped, not just the roof:

Note how the entire front is at an angle to the rear portion of the body. This is a total banana.

I have already contacted the seller and amazingly, he already replied!
He is going to take it up with the Ebbro representative for Europe and in any case, he promised me to resolve the issue properly.
This appears to be the first such complaint they have, so apparently it isn't customary.

Fingers crossed for you mate

2015 review

I buy 1/43 models to represent the real cars I buy and the collection has grown by 7 in 2015!

I would like to do that too, but there is no model for some cars I owned. For example the Toyota Camry V2 or the Subaru Leone III.

I have the same problem, Carlton estate (1986-1994), Citroen ZX estate, Bond Equipe 2 Ltr convertible, Bond Equipe GT4s etc. Then there are some models that are so expensive I just can't afford them.

Oddly most of the cars I own/ed are not available as models, or at least not in the scales I collect.

I actually have a reverse approach, I collect models of the cars I could never own in real life.

Did Gama not do a Omega estate? Almost a Carlton...

In case anyone wanted a punt on that 1/12 Revell Mustang, once the box was opened it was a very crisp moulding, very nice. Oddly the transfer sheet seemed to have ever European registration plate under the sun, but no American ones!

I only collect 1/43 and if I could find a Omega Estate (1988-1994) I would have it like a shot.

I have done ok and been collecting for 20 years plus and now have over a hundred models.

I like Christmas because you can do selfish things without feeling guilty, today I dusted my model collection.

That chappie, whose b-day we celebrate on Christmas, may disagree with you.

Theres a '91 Omega Estate on Neo's release schedule for 2015. Obviously it hasn't come out yet so presumably 2016 now.

See this....that's proper home-making. Up yours, Kirsty Ballsup.

Very nice things there - gold Corgi Herald, Green Dinky ditto. There is something satisfying about constant scale even if it did vary a bit...

I painted this really well when i was a little boy, didn't I ?

Ive got several cars just like that which were my dad's. My Grandpa worked on the ships and I am certain that is what he used to repaint them! My Uncles looked after their cars which I also now have and I noise my dad up about it !!

Those Dinky Yanks are amongst my favourite diecasts but I don't have nearly enough of them (yet)

I never did get one of those Corgi W123 ambulances, maybe I should start looking - worth it just for the Krankenwagen stickers!

Ive got that 504. Cracking model, even if it is a Welly.

Those Wellys, or NEXes in newspeak, get better and better.

Have you seen their 1:24 Charleston 2CV? It wouldn't be out of place next to a Franklin Mint!

I've got one, but it's white and orange and says Ambulance across the front.  Sorry.

I had these when I was a kid.

My new collection started because I was on a nostalgia kick.

My mum bought me the Roller as a gift after a night spent in the hospital.

It was ruined when I played with it on a gravel path...I was just five years old.

That Roller is in 'James May' burgundy as well
