Well done, it's about 10x times that on ebay!

I know, the guy seemed chuffed with getting a quid for it. It will be the pride of the MB7 Golfs I’ve got which amounts to several. Still looking for the ADAC one, I have the Dinky packaged black one though.

Anyone purchased one of these yet? They look really good but let down by the rear lights which look pish IMO, even at £150 I am seriously tempted.

Yes, I’ve got one (unsurprisingly for those who know my fleet). It’s really very good indeed apart from the usual resin model thing of having thin film windows that reflect the light unevenly, and even that is better than some.

The rear lights are ok although the reversing lights are maybe a touch narrow and the indicators are a bit dark. It hadn’t struck me until you asked.

(Don’t remember paying that much for it - I think Mr Lobster did me a bit of a deal on a pre-order.)

Edit: the harsh lighting doesn't flatter it - I think it looks better in the, er, plastic.

That SD1 is sublime. My parent's neighbour had an identical one PSH717S, sadly it ended up donating it's engine to an MGB Roadster.

Happy New Year mini-shiters. This was posted on FB, so had to share :-0

Who ever picked something shit like the disc Harrow...

I think because of parents or other relatives who worked in farming, that's surely why my uncles had 'em.

Whilst out in Bridgnorth, I popped o to town for a small nostalgic walk around like I used to do about 10 years ago. As I did I spotted an 'antiques' shop located on the right-side of the museum. I walked upstairs and they had a mother-load of model cars. Mostly boxed Superkings stuff. There were a couple of boxes of mixed stuff which I picked up these:

The Morris Minor is the one I really wanted. The other 2 were a bit 'meh' but of some interest to me anyway. The keyring is a heavy gold painted block with ADH 703G which presumably spells out someone's number plate. Can't find it on the .gov website. All cost me a couple of quid.

On the way back to the car I came across a shop that I must visit:

Yes I know you wouldn't harrow and rake hay at the same time - he is just trying to get rid of the pesky fox.

Seeing your muck-spreader ( ooh missus!) made me realise that they must have got 20 years out of that casting, assuming the 1970 one is the same, just different wheels, because I've got my Dad's from 1951, somewhere.

The Champ's another nice little earner.

Yep military and farm stuff got very long-legged!

Muck spreader 1949-1973 including re-numbering and the Champ lasted 1954-71....

Cleared through my 1/64 collection today and don't want these ones anymore. It's a mix of duplicates and stuff I don't really like.

£20 sound okay? Not sure about postage costs...

Includes Majorette CX, Audi 90, 924, 245, R5, 260Z.

Hot Wheels Chevy Citation X2, Dodge Aries etc

27 items in all. Mostly stuff with light to medium wear.

G'day here is the Fair Dinkum Ford Falcon. Bonza. Bizarrely some knock off Lego from Home Bargains has an Aussie address on.

I ordered this back in mid December and it arrived today. Listed as having defects with pictures on the listing to illustrate, this clearly isn't the same car as it has no visible flaws.

It's flipping spectacular.

I am so glad it came today to distract me from broken Rovers.

now that is glorious.

are you changing you user name to "David Vincent"?

no?

i'm disappoint........

It was the same with mine, it was advertised as faulty, but I couldn't find one.

I meanwhile replaced mine with an original. I find those Atlas repops oddly soulless.

when there are Atlas re-issues on the flea-bay for £50, that is damn cheap.

i know.

i've been looking!

Ebay prices are heart-stopping.  I'm sure the market is artificially high.  Is anyone actually selling for these prices?  They make my prices look like scrap money!

If I wanted to, I could list most of my 1/18s on ebay and if they did sell for the prices I see, I could afford a chauffeur, never mind about worrying about work ever again!  But I don't want to.  Just listing the few I've listed in my Sale thread is painful.  I really don't like getting rid of stuff.

I'd love one of those Galaxies and I wouldn't care if it was original or Atlas, but the prices are obscene.

Fees and postage don't help. Every £1 Lesney becomes £4.99 (£2.95 postage + 50p ebay fee + 37p PayPal)

Also some Dinky from their period of gay abandon. They must have known that this is not sustainable.

Anyway, I was extremely lucky since these usually go for big money.
