Shite in Miniature II

Folks,

Just to advise that a roffle of the very smol kind is kicking off over on the Open Forum, with all monies going to the DaveNumbers Fundrazr.

Mutliple prizes are on offer, involving both plastic and diecast minishite of varying scales, donated by Egg and myself. A top bonus ball prize of a biggish box containing Vanguards, Corgi Classics, Eligor and more is to be won. Tickets are a trifling £2 each.

Initial sales are strong and your participation would be an honour.

Good to have found Le Dandy with auxiliary lamps present - they fall off for fun.

That's what the guy I bought it from said.

The roof was slightly skew-whiff but some careful manipulation soon had it in a passable condition.

Paid €10.00 for it,not cheap but never found one for sale,so had to have it.

EKO one is on the left, noticeably cruder than my Lego version but nice to have them both now.

Where the bloody hell do you guys get those Matchboxes?

No trick to it really.

Keep looking and you find stuff.

I spotted that Citroen in a bag of fishing reels at a car boot sale!

The guy had other diecast stuff displayed and got the Citroen for free, after I had bought a larger casting from him.

Which I will take a pic of later.

Folks,

Not wishing to clutter things up, but owing to the phenomenal response to the MiniShite Grand Prize Roffle for the DaveNumbers Memorial Fundrazr, I'm aware a fair few regulars on here didn't get a crack at entering/donating.

Although there's not much that can be done when the roffleboard is filled, there is however a special bonus Friday Night Mystery Prize Sub-Roffle now available for those who missed out for whatever reason. The Mystery Prize is a rather nice 1/43 model complete with acrylic display case, and will be posted out to you, still incognito, for the winner to reveal at their leisure. Overseas and ROI shiters are most welcome to participate! If you win, I'll make sure the prize gets to you.

Entry is a suggested donation of £2 (or whatever you fancy) via PayPal/BACS/Cash or whatever, all going towards the Dave21478 Fund. There's no limit to the number of folk who can participate (within reason, obvs), but we're keeping it to only one entry per shiter!

Full details here:

Thanking you very humbly.

Hot wheels next.

1970 Carabo with scissor doors.

Hard to believe these things decimated matchbox sales.

They are just so flimsy, but they roll really well.

This one most certainly does.

That cortina is begging to be restored.

Maybe sometime.

I have a couple of decent ones,I quite like this in its present derelict condition.

Despite that the casting is in good shape.

Tailgate is missing too.

In the interests of domestic harmony my latest purchases were sent to my work address, although I wasn't expecting them quite yet. post-26064-0-13135100-1533653526_thumb.jpg
