What does the (typically hilariously illegible) printing say on the box to tell us what model was originally in there?

Worked it out

N°215 TRANSPALETTE

Which means I have the (opened) box for one of these Unimog pallet loaders

I always thought the Nissan 300ZX was quite a good HW casting from the 80’s.

Now that is one I don't have!  Hurrah!  Cured.

This Majorette Nissan 300ZX Turbo is fitted with the wheels inherited from Novacar.  Perhaps the casting was originally Novacar - will have to dig out that Majorette catalogue with Novacar section in the back

I look at this base and am convinced it was a Novacar

Anyone fancy a flutter on a Corgi Multi garage, tinplate garage and a bundle of other vintage diecast? I've started a £1 roffle here:

Initially on getting it out of the box, I thought someone had coloured the centre of the roof in, as my tatty ones don't have the red area

But other examples have it, so it must be a variation

Just been into Entertainer, they're now offering the 3 for 2 offer on any mix of Matchbox and Hot Wheels, so that might be useful to some of us!

I really want to get my hands on one of those, boxed. When I received Ian Kuah's legendary "Dream Cars" tome for Christmas 1988, I fawned over the Quasar like a seven year-old. Because I was seven.

What’s the trick to getting all the pen off?

I've been eyeing up a job lot of VWs on eBay for months, as there was an ERTL one among them I wanted to check out. It was too expensive, but then this appeared

Despite saying it's a 1200, the collector card on the back shows a 1302

Supposedly it influenced the 405/605 at the front end.

Were these in short supply ?  Just picked up 2 in Morrisons ..only 2  matchbox toys left , and both happened to be Fiestas !  20250219_203654.thumb.jpg.c8a9558bccabe3c5a6cda5fbef812fe3.jpg

It’s a brilliant little casting that is, I’ve had mine from new bought in Spain sometime in the early 1990’s.

They sourced parts from the 205 spares stock. The chassis is 205 T16

It might be a stationary display car, but there is a genuine 600bhp Group-B engine and gearbox in there

I bought a spare Shovit yesterday
