Been after one of these for ages, like the condition, you can see it’s been enjoyed but cared for. But sadly missing the pipes. Easily remedied though with some 15mm copper pipe left over.

That was always one of my favourite castings tbh. I preferred it in the Esso wrecker guise, but the tipper and also this yellow pipe truck were all great. Much prefer the pre-Superfast wheels as well.

Some Matchbox British tin.

Wolseley 1500. This was dug out of storage in the 1980's because I  had a white one myself. This model was painted in the touch-up paint I had for the real one. It was then sitting on the dash.

Sold some stuff on eBay for quite a lot more than expected so bought myself one of the Monster Truck Drag Bus versions that we didn't get in the UK (as usual)

I’m so fecking happy this shop was open today. I walked past one evening last week and spotted this dodge van super king in the window. I immediately remembered having the van at school in the 90s on a “bring a toy to school” day. It got dropped and the front suspension broke. Said shop was open today, so I did a blues brothers style 180 parking manoeuvre outside the shop and shot in (slight exaggeration). £14 was exchanged and I left a happy man. Didn’t even know it came with a Porsche on a trailer until the other day. It’s near mint, one mirror and one wheel centre on the roof wheel missing. It’s awesome!!!

Does anyone know what this is? It looks to be missing a few bits? I cannot read what is underneath although the word China seems to be there.

I had the van, bought with a huge box of similar era cars off someone I worked with years ago. I have the trailer and the Porsche but the van was in the loft when I split from my ex wife. Sad emoji.

Pulled the spare yellow Crapi out of the blister. Didn't think live axles had camber adjustment

Give Mattel their due, the Capri is a really good casting, accurate and almost free of defects. Interior is damn good too

1986 Ford Taurus in OCP Detroit Police livery from RoboCop.

It's a Greenlight, so smudges inside the windows, but otherwise very well executed.

I used to have an OCP Taurus when I was a kid. It came with a RoboCop figure. Nostalgia!

is it just me, or do the rear lights look like narrow pre-facelift despite it having the facelift's twin headlights?

I'm assuming it's a 3.0 with twin headlights

I think it’s supposed to be either a US market Capri or an RS3100.

Good shout on the rogue rear lights on the Capri. The original MB Capri was an prefacelift one with the Allegro headlights and small rear tail lights.

It's still a really nice model. I haven't opened it yet but I think I will now!

That looks quite nice.  It should stand up neatly to conversion to  Mercury Sable spec and a coat of white paint...

Spot On MG PB. I had a number of Spot Ons. Including a milk float, Sunbeam Alpine, Ford Zephyr and bubble car.  I recall a I had an old shop which could have also been Spot made. All of these have disappeared. The range were my favourites. The detail and eh weight of each model was better than those offered by the other two manufactures of the day. They were more expensive so I was not gifted so  many.

Got to both the normal and late start boot sales today. Resisted the temptation of this Puch

Some ancient tyres

And anything this guy was selling, interesting though some of it was

Settle down with a nice cuppa while I show you all the cars I bought

Um yeah that's it. Not sure if it was the forecast rain or whether everyone got pissed in the sun yesterday and couldn't be bothered, but both sites were underpopulated with slim pickings.

At least it was all cheap, newer boxed tumble buggy was £1 and the others 10-50p

I don't know anything about them but would guess repops. He had some good condition Corgi etc both Junior and full size but £1.50 upwards for Juniors and £5 plus on the bigger ones. No rarities

Every days a school day , I must admit I assumed they’d based it on a US Spec Mercury, but even that doesn’t explain the lumps between the lights and numberplate.

I’ve got the red version of that tumble buggy somewhere. Wow that brings back memories!
