Matchbox XR4i came to hand earlier as I was putting my Hot Wheels away, as I found two Cosworths I thought I'd open one for comparison

This is this another version of the Ford Sierra.

I posted earlier about he differing details on the bas of these small Corgis. Here we have The Ford Sierra and Jag XJ40. One as bold as a badgers ass whilst the other is very detailed.

Wife bought me this as a reward for spending two nights in sub zero temperatures mending her car. Apparently they’re on offer on a website at £2.50 each which wasn’t bad.

As I understand it Corgi sold a load of castings, and later re-acquired them so they'd had all the info underneath removed. Some don't have any name at all but are clearly Corgi castings - Merc bus

20211115_14552420191110_175944

Buick Regal - there are various changes to the wording, number of rivets, addition of slots for the version with side exit exhausts and made in Britain/China

Right then, kids and kidettes of all ages... some more diecast to clear coming through.

I've spent a fair chunk of this week sorting through stuff, so apologies for the volume - there's quite a lot.

I've grouped the pics into similar items where possible, just to keep some sort of flow, and while selling by joblot is preferred for reasons of getting stuff gone, I can be flexible...

Also, keeping in mind that late January can often be a time where cashflow is tight, I'm happy to set stuff aside til February, if that helps!

Basically, these will all be available for a week. After that, whatever remains will be going to Market Blokey for whatever I can get for them. Needs must, and all that.

Let's go...

UPDATE 24/01/2022: these models have now all gone - either to individual shiters, or as part of the joblot sold on 21 January. Sorry if you missed anything!

**EDIT - NOW SOLD!!**

Some 50s/60s Eastern Bloc fun here - two Moskviches and a Zastava.

IMG_20220113_124346.thumb.jpg.52103d6ff9c7dcae89f1ac610cdf521a.jpg

Still unopened; £2 each, all three for £5.

Posted

**EDIT - ALL TAKEN!!**

Further (newer) Iron Curtain chod: Wartburg in sedan and pickup format, and a Yugo Sana.

IMG_20220113_124501.thumb.jpg.c203646001dc1404a3cfa6c727f66a25.jpg

Wartburgs opened, Yugo still sealed.

Again, £2 each - all three for £5.

(Postage and stuff to be worked out, otherwise this could get needlessly complex.)

**EDIT - CIELO AND MOSKVICH TAKEN!!**

And still more of these Eastern partwork models:

IMG_20220113_124550.thumb.jpg.2bf0068af93dba72e705f55f2f80befa.jpg

Dacia 1309 (effectively a Renault 12 crew cab); Daewoo Cielo (Nexia), Moskvich 408/412 and an off-road oddity in the form of a LUAZ 969M.

Dacia and Daewoo previously opened, the others still sealed.

Again, £2 each.

Posted

**EDIT - THESE THREE GONE!!**

Many here will be familiar with the Russian service vehicle partworks which Poundland sold about eight years ago; I had a fair few of them.

IMG_20220113_124638.thumb.jpg.2ed9c22a1710fd88753908b533c43a1d.jpg

Two UAZ Bukhankas, and a RAF fire support vehicle, all previously opened.

Rock bottom prices at £1 each!

Posted

And more:

Transitsky security van, Moskvitch box van, and a big bus thing.

**EDIT - NIVA TAKEN, OTHERS STILL AVAILABLE!!**

I've got a handful of Volvo 740s that are about as detailed as that XJ40.

**EDIT - NOW GONE!!**

Russian Peelermobiles, in the form of a Lada and a GAZ, plus a little Moskvich woody.

IMG_20220113_125033.thumb.jpg.5160527583265c9612a5113d03961c2d.jpg

Thanks for the explanation. I am still a little confused on this. I know the story of castings is confusing.

I have been trying to look at the hobbybaseDB site But these small red and blue boxed vehicles do not often show up. Maybe I am not using the right filters.

**EDIT - NOW SOLD!!**

Lastly for this round, a pair of taxis:

IMG_20220113_124956.thumb.jpg.6c5f4c1008ed3c247fac2fa812b4c899.jpg

GAZ M20 Pobeda, and a late-era Volga cab.

£1 takes each of them.

Hobby DB is good but it covers such a vast range that not everything is on there. Shame there's no Corgi Wiki like there is for Matchbox and Hot Wheels, I wouldn't have a clue how to make one, I can just about upload a picture to the gallery and someone usually edits it afterwards

Smaller scale stuff now:

IMG_20220113_134522.thumb.jpg.d7d1c43e5ed74f87c3fa1f27ecb4c776.jpg

Hongwell Cararama 1/72 items, mint and boxed.

**VEHICLES IN PIC 1 NOW SOLD!!**

Ford Puma along with the Focus RS is quite sought-after, I believe - Pug 807 along with a 206 cabrio also an unusual choice.

£2 each on the double packs, £1 each on the Sprinter van and GMC pickup.

IMG_20220113_134744.thumb.jpg.d881c383b19db72538dfe2d1d7c24048.jpg

Assorted German vehicles, boxed - £1.50 each, or all seven for £8.

IMG_20220113_134630.thumb.jpg.9e0dba9f56d7325efb72cd5d4b18c8f7.jpg

Pack of six police vehicles - fiver.

**EDIT - ALL TRUCKS ETC IN THE LAST PIC SPOKEN FOR!!**

IMG_20220113_134453.thumb.jpg.78aa23e153dbf7221364148c66180629.jpg

Trucks, £2 each - and emergency rescue set up for £5.

Might be of some interest to  @diecastcollect?

Oooo. Of partworks, please reserve me Daewoo Cielo, FSO Polonez, Niva and big Soviet bus thing (the latter managed to evade me when Pfundland was full of commie conveyances).

I was looking through the Hot Wheels 10 packs in Smyths to see if any contained this Lotus, as my friend collects this casting and this colour scheme has been spotted among the 10s.

That is a Flying Customs 55 Chevy, and should not be in that multi-pack

Sure thing! Will set those to one side for you.

I think I might still have a bus here for you as well - was this one you were after, last summer?

Cararama police are 1/72 scale (or thereabouts...)

Apologies, I thought I'd found you a Polonez last year, or else I would have messaged you first!

Can't rightly remember now what happened; things all got a bit muddled...

Hey DC, by all means pass the Polonez in Eddy's direction. His need is much greater than mine.
