Ain't that the truth!  And our hobby is a perfect illustration!  Look at the partwork collections the rest of the world gets.  Now look at what we get - that won't take long!  And don't get me started on pricing...

If we all paid less tax on incomes, and less tax on all the crap we have to buy just to live it’d leave everyone more spare each month to actually enjoy the one life we get. Then the system would benefit from more people spending money. At the moment it’s the other way around.

We’d probably get more partwork’s etc etc if people in the UK had any spare money to spend on hobbies. As it is the millionaires have got it off and don’t care but everyone else has to choose between putting the heating on or eating.

But that’s all probably for another thread😆

Really nice, I do have an original

And a resto-mod which I believe you supplied the wheels for. Used to be green and I just copied a period colour scheme from a real car, before realising Dinky did the same on the original

I might have to find a repop to go with those now. What's the difference on the nose badge?

I supplied the white walls and the tax disc.

The difference is the size of the badge. It is smaller on the French casting.

Not trying to turn this into the politics thread but I don't think it is the taxes we all pay, it is the cost of a place to live that gobbles up most peoples income.

They do a nice Speed 20 as well. I've had one pass through here.

Did quite a few miles last week, visited various shops and had just these to show for it:

Infiniti seems to be a recolour of a casting that first came out last year, not sure if I have that one. The other two were a fiver each from a Starlings toy shop, also got a Lamborghini from the same series for Master SL but sadly there was no sign of the Nissan 240SX. Likewise the Skyline R30 that came in another Premiums set of which they had a few (there was a fantasy Advan van amongst them).

Did a buy today at a swap meet. A lot of overpriced shit but scored this for £3.50. A bargain I think?

Is the glazing simply painted?

Looks like it.

One of those would be incredibly easy to make yourself… even suitable Royal Mail decals wouldn’t be hard to find I wouldn’t think.

Now, who do we know who’s got an abundance of Corgi Metro’s!?😆

Would  be good to do Rover era brochure car

Both Austin and Morris branding was replaced by just ‘Metro’

Eddy’s is an export (CKD?) Morris

What other models can we create a van from simply by painting the rear windows… MK1 Fiesta. Did Vauxhall do a Nova van?

A Chevanne is on my ‘to do’ list!

I did an Astra van from an Astra 3 door estate.

I was thinking a couple of days ago whilst looking at my HW E30 with the added blue driver, why do most miniature toy cars not have a driver?

Long shot but does anyone have 2 spare seat backs for a Superkings Sierra?
