Daniel Craig in Casino Royale when he stumbles on a dying friend Mathis sums up my expectations for croaking it!

However there is a sort of plan… All my valuable/worthless man cave tat is in my garage so my descendants are not scrabbling through a dusty loft on their knees, my thinking is bundle it one location so its easy to manage. I’m also being choosey by hoarding nice things not completionist things. Signs and posters have a description on the back too.

But back to the “He wouldn't care”  quote that sums it up! Remember we are here for a good time not a long time folks 😎

It's Quantum of Solace...🤣

So far as how long we last - look after yourselves folks and we can all go on a long time. Worth working at it.

Well I never - Corgi 1:36 - Cherokee, Blazer, Golf Mk1 were considered

Cherokee got so far as an interior and glazing, and the proportions look less of a first stab

Those stickers don’t like right, it looks like they were laid on 5 minutes ago, they wouldn’t be so stiff on the original, normally they’re much more burnished than that?

It looks like they were inkjet printed on a Windows 2000 version of MS Paint.

I think you could be right

This is the photo on the old Falkensteiner site, made many years ago, and clearly not the same example having a scuff on the roof sticker edge

I wonder if Charlie Mack makes a mention

It looks like card? Is it a prototype?

It's a pre-production colour trial, listed as assumed genuine.

I thought there was just the one red produced with the Dunlop & Cibie stickers, but it's clear there are at least two red examples (with stickers) ...if the current one listed for sale is in fact genuine.  Squinting here, but the bonnet and roof look age-tainted, compared to the questionable door sticker

The Jeep looks production ready 😳 I can see sense in no Golf when your making a Polo.

Oh look the M&S-only Buick Century Regal Fire Chief

0030833_corgi-toys-ms-special-editions.g

Offered in selected stores 1978-9 (likely Xmas stock), produced by Corgi and fitted with the double light-bar arrangement as the Superman Metropolis version.  I expect the Corgi branding was removed, but never having seen one in the flesh, cannot confirm.  GO ON, BUY IT SO WE CAN FIND OUT

Corgi did produce both 924 and 944 Porsches though

More so, THREE Triumph Acclaim castings, one of them trying to be a Honda 🙂

I don’t doubt if someone had the requisite skill (not me in other words!!) they could fool a lot by repainting an already good one.

The M&S Corgis got all the best colours didn't they? Oddly I was admiring the metallic green Lotus only a few hours ago.

Have / did have a red one too, somewhere.  But never the blue one though with the 'Elite 2+2' stickers.

NO.  But if I find a red Buick in a rummage box now, at least I know what it was supposed to look like new.  And if I did find one I might even be tempted to photograph the base...

'Seagull' stickered green production was also released as a single, with three interior colours to choose from

Casting pulled by end 1983.

My wife has just got a 3d printer and it's produced a test item, a wee boat. It's brilliant.

@quicksilver or anyone else, can you help me with a source to get files for 1/76 cars please? I'm looking for a Rover 75 but others would be fine.

The ones in ebsy are £80 😳 so something a little more palatable would be great!
