Stingeroo seems to be the common one

Tidy Stingeroo in the Cash Converters cabinet of dreams - not quite my bag, but both it and the box looked good.

Looks kinda fragile compared to most others in the range; maybe that's why I rarely encounter them?

Here’s a few of my recent finds. A mixture of boot sale (this morning in the rain!) and various other places.

Matchbox Laser rimz yo! The Chevy stocker is really nice, but one axle was bent when I got it, managed to straighten it out though and rolls perfectly now.

More Matchbox.

Corgi Jr’s. Wispa truck still has its rear doors so thought it worth picking up. The Minor is one of those weird Corgi Cameo ones, but I like it!

Majorette Cadburys collection. Beetle is almost unmarked.

Matchbox Lesney.

Random others.
Corgi Volvo 760, Corgi Imp, Majorette Prelude, MC/Maisto Volvo 760 & Lincoln.

Everyone seems to like it. I'm just drawn to oddities. Boot hinges are very fragile, think it's lucky not to have broken

I think scalextric modelled the Escort best, whip the guides off and you have a very nice model 👍

When I was a kid I got the Scalextric Escort set for Xmas one year. You got a figure 8 track and an orange & blue Escort. I played that thing to death! Those two Escorts probably did far more mileage than many of the real cars did!
No idea what happened to it though.

If you're on the Tat Friday WhatsApp group you'll know I'm on a little jolly into Germany, which seems to be a great place to find diecasts for some reason. I'm a bit overwhelmed now after popping into a normal size town and finding rack after rack full

Despite all that, I didn't buy too many - these three I hadn't seen before;

And some spare I thought might be wanted - a pink Bedford CA ice cream van and some blue MR2s - enough that I have all four variations plus four spares if needed?

It also led me to think that maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea to set up a Tat Friday WhatsApp group, as a sort-of emergency channel in case of further forum outages?

If you'd like to participate in such a thing, and are ok with others on here having access to your details (though really, I think there's been enough trading to make us all very familiar with each other's names and addresses), PM me your number and I'll get it set up.

This!

I'd like to join the whatsapp group, but I don't have the app,  Mr 20th Century here.

That's okay - I'm sure we can find some sort of workaround...

Still taking members for the WhatsApp group, never fear!

I find it can be a handier way of getting the word out that a sudden trove of tat has been uncovered at a car boot sale or whatever - especially at weekends, when I tend to be out and about or doing things, so tend not to be logged on to the forum here - then get the sense of annoyance at having missed out on something excellent!
