I had breakfast in a nice cafe on Saturday which I had not been in before, on the counter they were selling a selection of 007 models for £7 each, unfortunately no Taunus Ghia and I had most of the ones there except a 2CV so I bought it. When talking with the cafe owner he told me there was a good model stall in the market so when I finished my breakfast we walked to the market, of the items there I bought the 1300 estate and vanguards mini van. The stall owner said he would have a vanguards Cortina and rally Hunter in next Saturday so I must remember to get there early.

Thank you!  Highly unlikely I'll get that way in the foreseeable though, but kind offer.  For future reference, I'm always interested in American cars, especially police cars; also police cars from elsewhere around the world and cars I've owned.  I would particularly like a Vanguards Triumph Dolomite and a couple of their civilian mk3 Zephyrs for painting.  BUT it's all price-critical.

I timed my visit to Entertainer perfectly, just as their delivery had arrived, thanks to a tip off from them last week. Beat whoever it is going in there going through the boxes to two brand new H cases, just on my way home with treasures...not Treasure Hunts though sadly

I received this in a bundle but do not know what it is. It is Matchbox sized but only a Chinese model and all it says is D 85 - Made in China.

Does anyone know the name of the actual vehicle? I am guessing it is a Lancia, Lamborghini or Ferrari.

That’s a BMW M1 so close to a Lamborghini as they built ‘em!

Oddly I have just bought a miniature one too! I’d say this a a matchbox homage.

Diecast experts! Does anyone recognise the Pilen Mini cooper casting, or is it an original? It has several distinctive features so hopefully one of you will know. (photos nicked from ebay)

(some versions have separate red plastic lenses for the rear lamps)

Any ideas?

Poor things suffered being tread on, but it’s a lovey casting if very small - 50mm probably.

I may have slightly upset the bloke in Entertainer, as his manager brought me the two boxes to look through - he was making it very obvious he wanted some of the ones I bought but he works there so has more opportunities than most.

I honestly don't know. There are/have been so many no-name Chinese brands it's very hard to ID them. I'm on a Facebook group which has plenty of people more knowledgeable than me about them, I happened to know the Zylmex because the number on the base is a dead giveaway, and I like collecting them.
