We might as well get cracking so I can have them ordered up ready, someone (sadly my memory is shit, so apologies to that person) kindly upped the quality of the pictures last year for me so if they'd be so kind as to do so again it'd be great. Still think we should have members cars only, or we could all trawl the 'net and it'd take forever.

 

Not sure how we're going to vote, is it worth asking everyone to post up the 12 pictures they want to see or would it just clog the thread up and make it difficult to sort out? Opinions please as would like to sort this asap, cheers.

Why not create a poll? List each image on the thread & give it a couple of weeks to run. Might be the easiest way, if everyone posts 12 pictures they want to see, it'll make this thread pretty hard to sift through.

You need to get the contributors to send a full size copy. This is normally already available on Flickr hosted pictures.

I don't have time right now to go through the whole thread, can try and do the rest later on if it's helpful. Someone suggested just having member's cars didn't they? Or was it limiting photos to those taken by members?

Personally speaking I think it should be limited to forum members own cars (or cars they owned at the time the photo was taken). Saves anybody getting upset about their car being used later on plus it makes it more personal to the site.

Right, busy at the moment and too dim to add a poll or WHATEVS so here's the start of my choices:

The poll option on the forum only allows 10 options so either we need to select a shortlist of 10 for each month, just votes on the forum (using the quote option like we did for the autoshite stickers) or look at some of site voting thing unless anyone else has an idea?

I like Trigger's shot of the Mk3 Cortina above, but the wheels are turned the wrong way, and for a pedant like me, that's off putting. He did another with the car near the bridge with the wheels pointing dead ahead. That's the one I'd use out of that photo set.

 

The 740 Estate next to the caravan though - a dead cert, use that one!

+1 on the old photos effect, it may make the colouration look like an old photo, but they've still not managed to work out how to make it look as if it's from film stock rather than a manipulated digital image. Anoraky, I know...
