Three tanks down, I only did short sprints on the last one and still managed 30 mpg. I got a new rubber grip for the steering wheel. It was cheap thankfully as it felt like it was slightly degraded as I took it out of the packet. Had it up on the lift and slightly concerned that if the car is airborne there's literally nothing stopping the rear springs from falling out as they're so short. Ive ordered some OEM springs and am going to try to get new shocks to freshen the back up a bit. @320touring points out that the back wheels are just to hold the bumper off the ground, but I figure whilst the bumper is off the ground it would be good if it could stay that high. Otherwise I have found a screw in one of the good tyres Plan is to get two new tyres for the back, that screw pulled and plugged, all four wheels balanced and the tracking done tomorrow morning.

If the catch is sticky and it's mostly shut but not properly clicked, then lifts whilst you're driving, the light could be useful. Gives you a chance to stop and shut it properly before it greets the windscreen halfway round the corner.
