Two Throbbing Gristle albums in the same thread on a forum about ropey old cars, what are the odds?

The car poking into shot to the right of Chris Carter is a Range Rover which probably managed to bankrupt a good few owners in its relatively long (and most likely troublesome) life:

Throbbing Gristle. I don't know much about their music but I read an interesting Mojo interview with Genesis P-Orridge. Certainly a very unusual character......

She was really cute before she had all that ridiculous plastic surgery.... and G P.O actually looked normal! Some friends of mine run a semi-famous blog and DJ night called 20jazzfunkgreats.

does this count?

It's pretty decent mid-80s Dexy's influenced pop, the live side is best. I got it and a shedload of other Flying Nun stuff from a sale bin in Germany, 1DM a pop. This was way back in the day, before the interweb and it was nigh on impossible to get records from New Zealand - I thought all my Christmases had come at once!

Can't beat that!

Such a budget album cover. I know you all would love an Orion.

What about Opal Mantra by Therapy? Can't find any art that I can download, and I've only got it on 12" vinyl, and it won't fit on my scanner....

Have we had this one:

Flibbiddydibbiddydob by Snuff. Dug out of the shed as I'm putting a load of LP's on eBay this week (shameless self-promotion).

http://shop.ebay.co.uk/spottedlaurel/m. ... ksid=p4340

Some UK/US hardcore/indie bargains to be had. But no others with cars on that I noticed other than the JAMS LP which I thinks we've already had (and which, to be quite frank, I find unlistenable).

Hey SL, slightly off-topic but how are you planning to package those albums for post? I've got a load of old vinyl that I'm never go to play any more, but I'm struggling to think how to post it without damage if I eBay it (I did think a pizza box might be a solution...).

I've probably bought upwards of 150 records off ebay over the years and they always arrive in perfect condition in a decent cardboard mailer.

Thanks for the bids! I probably should have mentioned I would be selling them on here but it seemed a bit off-topic.If anyone is seriously interested I am also going to be selling LP’s by Sink, Senseless Things, Mega City Four and that Snuff LP plus Snuffsaid...PM me if you want to make an offer on anything beforehand, but I’ll need to know fairly soon as I want to get them listed before this current batch finishes. As for sending them out, I was proposing to use what I do for brochures which is stiff cardboard inside a padded envelope. One tip I picked up from a listing was to separate the inner sleeve from the outer so the vinyl can’t move around and damage the sleeve.

I've been having the exact same thought. Trouble is I can't be arsed going through my collection and listing it. Much easier to sell as a job lot but the trouble is it seems that several hundred early '90's 12" singles is worth bugger all really.
