Could this forecourt have the highest concentration of R11s anywhere in the country?

That looks quite a nice thing, usual Renault auto gearbox problem aside.Shame the seller couldn't be arsed to open the doors to take the interior pictures though.

35K on the clock, but no MOT, so should go for a pretty fair price. Sounds like an ideal machine for pottering around in, if not particularly exciting.

Identical to my old one. Rather more expensive, but (one would hope) in rather better nick as well.

Oddly high mileage for a camper, looks nice though. Wonder how fast it goes with the 1.6?!

I'm seriously tempted to put in a bid on this 323. It's the second time it's appeared on the Bay recently. Though it looks a top notch one, it's just a bit far away to go and have a look at the moment and I'm not sure sure how much to risk as an unseen purchase :?

I'll mull it over. Sometimes it's better the devil you know and my Sunny's running well but needs a bit of bodywork sorting. I do like these Mazdas though

Spotted that 323, looks like a lovely car and it deserves a good home. I imagine it's not particularly exciting to drive, but hey neither is the Galant, will make a fantastic daily I bet.

Well mine would manage an indicated 70mph with relative ease, and that was with a dodgy clutch and having sat immobile for two years on the previous owner's drive. I suspect a sorted one would hum along at a true 70mph without breaking too much of a sweat - 4th gear is relatively high for the type of vehicle so you're doing under 4000rpm at 70. Not particularly economical at that sort of speed though.

I don't reckon £2k is over the top for that to be fair. I'm suprised it didn't fetch that before but I guess it's not the best time of year to be flogging motors. It's not mint but looks to be quite solid and all complete plus those Custom wagons are mega rare now. I'd probably pay that for a solid example if I had it. I'd definately pay that much for a solid 330 Cedric.

Mmm, £2K sounds a bit rich (for me) considering it has been sat for a while. Does look nice, though a photo of the sills would be nice considering it says one needs a bit of welding!! Always annoys me when they say it needs a bit of welding on somewhere, then don't provide any photos.

I think that I maybe place a higher value on some of these old jap machines partly because of the times in the past when I considered a grand or two to be a bit much and now cannot get a nice example of certain things. I did exactly the same a few years back when i had the chance of a mint 710 SSS for £2k which at the time was a lot of money for a Datsun. How foolish was I? That same car is probably worth 6 to 8 times that now and I'll never again have the opportunity to buy such a perfect example. It's taken maybe 8 years for me to find another half decent example and even then it cost me £1200 and needs body, paint and new chrome plus the usual mechanical fettling associated with a car that's stood for a few years. Ironically, it'll end up costing me a lot more than that 12,000 mile minter would have done a few years back. The point with cars like this is they are not like Marinas or Escorts. they are proper rare and you cannot shop around. If you want one you buy what's offered but if you don't specifically want one then any price will seem to much. If you can point at a better example for the same money, or one like it cheaper then you can justifiably claim the price to be too much but the chances are you won't be able to as there won't be another for sale.Bottom line is if it goes for £2k then that's what it's worth to at least a couple of people. If I had that kind of money spare i'd have it like a shot but I keep buying two bit piles of shit which keep me skint all the time.

Jeez! Want!!!There's a mint Crown Hardtop for sale over here for 12750 euros... I reckon a Custom like that one would easily get an asking price of 5000 euros, at least. Nutters. There's a 1981 Datsun Violet for sale for around 4500 for a couple of years now, as well as a 1980 323 for 7000 etc. etc. Yes, they are quite rare but who's going to pay that much? Prices are way too high over here, thank dog J-stuff is usually still affordable-ish.

I can tell you if it helps -as I've a Bellet -bought in November, in Melbourne, awaiting shipment! There are NO ro-ro's out of OZ till May -earliest -seems new car bookings must be booming down there....So I'm rentiong a 40ft container and filling it -only route I can find equitable to ro-ro.So far the Bellet, Fiat 124 estate & Fiat 1500 are going in -plus a host of spares. 2 spaces left -if you're interested -or I'll just keep buying....Cost for 1 of 5 is about £1100 -delivered to Southampton.,,Tax's, handling and port costs add £3-400 each.Let me know if you want a space -before I buy 2 more!

I think advertising for one pound gets round the ebay commision? I'm sure you could force him to sell it someway, but wouldn't be worth the hassle!
