I should use my fleet to try and muscle in on this guys business. I can offer the executive hobo my Mercedes for high powered meetings with his disability allowance advisor or maybe rent the CAVCRAFT Escort to someone who does a bit of painting and decorating to supplement his giro. Obviously the 306 dizzler would be ideal for someone who's an asylum seeker in need of frugal wheels to deliver kebabs for his cousin.

I heard of this sometime back but couldnt find any further information.

Its making me think about when I last saw a Mk1 Mondeo? Probably a few weeks. Ebay gives meagre pickings. They have suddenly gone....

we should get together and form a shite rental network covering most of the country.

Can you imagine the grief if they get a puncture and need to change the wheel?

They wouldn't be any less able to change the wheel than with a new car.

A friend of mine is offloading a mk1 Mondeo estate in the next few weeks if anyones that desperate, at least a roll of tape in the front bumper alone. :)

I've seen three recently locally. One was absolutely mint, a red saloon that looks like it's owned by an enthusisast, one was one of those rare (citron?) yellow ones and the other was a complete and utter dog.

Funny how the Mk1 looks a million times better than the Mk2.

What a great idea.

It would not be a bad idea if we got a thread going for intra autoshite car rental. Ie. You fancy a weekend in Scotland. Fly to Edinburgh and take the 306 for the weekend. I need to use a car in London so I get a maxi off Vek.

You could do this by private agreement or by babysitter style credits...ie cost renting is 1 credit per day and credits can be used or traded/sold between members.

Could be a plan eh?

And if a small amount of cash is being used at least it is going into other shitters pockets where it will be spent on chod rather than those FACIST bastards at National!

I always thought the original was a bit bland, whereas the facelift was a vast improvement

Nah, the first was clean, subtle and kinda futuristic to a young CIH but the mk2 is all Mr Angry Fuck.

Plus the first had a dent stab at BTCC while the second sucked untill everyone else gave-up and left.

Brilliant idea. Anyone holidaying in Northern Ireland is more than welcome to a French Fancy of mine.

Anyone is welcome to come and hire one of mine and take them to the MOT test centre.......

Lol! Yes, actually, good point. Anyone who can breathe life in to a Renault 25 V6 is welcome to free hire for the week.
